It has been five years since Adeline Whitlock left her pack with a two-months pregnancy. Since then she's been in the care of Jayden and Kayden, the two brothers that look so alike despite their two years age gap.
She has become the most renowned doctor and advisor; in the human world, her life as a werewolf did not prevent her from achieving her dreams
Zack Adamson was a human and a great man who worked in one of the hospitals Adeline was working at and their family has been a great support system to her. Everyone knew their role unlike the Werewolf kingdom and what they were supposed to do, but everyone was treated with almost equal respect, regardless of their status.
This way of life brought everyone together and it became stronger.
Adeline has received international recognition and is widely regarded as the best doctor at her age, almost all her surgeries are successful earning her the title "the hybrid doctor".
"I wish I could do what those gifted hands of yours can do," Zack said, smiling as we headed back to my office.
"Don't patronise me Zack" you are already the best this hospital has and I'm so proud to be working with you and taking care of my babies as if they are all yours" Thank you for all you do for us, I said holding his hands.
Zack has been my helper, showing and showering me with love anytime he got the opportunity to do so, he has never given me any reason to doubt and he is always there for my babies whenever Jayden and Kayden are not available.

Her three-year-old Triplets run up to her, "Mummy! Mummy! There's a monster chasing me,” they screamed.
She quickly turned around to see what it was, but it was just Jayden in his half-werewolf form. You did think it would be Kayden since he is the playful one but ever since her children were born, Jayden brought out a childish side that no one knew he possessed.
She looked at her adoptive brother with a smile as the children hid behind her. They have happily taken her in and even went as far as adopting her as their sister. She was extremely grateful to have them in her life, and they were her son's super uncles.
“Go play with your friends,” Adeline said to her children who quickly pecked her and waved at Jayden before running out.
“Be careful boys” she called out.
"They have grown into big boys. Are you going?” Jayden asked.
“Yes, he is, Going to where?” She asked slightly confused, he travels a lot but he has no travel plan this month.
“My goddess! Kayden did not inform you. He told me he did.”
“What is it?”
“A pack meeting. It is scheduled for tomorrow, and they want a representative from each pack. Kayden is out of the country and I am travelling down to the refugee camp to help them. You are the only person I can entrust with this meeting.
“I can't Alpha Jayden, the patience and hospital needs me here.”
“Adeline, Alpha Jackson is going to be there. It might be our only chance to sign a peace treaty with him. You know he's been avoiding any contact, you can see him there.”
“Corner an Alpha and not just any Alpha but Alpha Jackson, the most ruthless Alpha in this continent. Jayden, do you want my head on a gold platter?”
“No, no Adeline. You know what I mean. You are also an advisor. We believe you can succeed in securing a peace treaty from him. And you won't be going alone, Delta Dave will go with you.”
“You're our only hope Adeline. Attend the meeting, find Alpha Jackson and speak with him about the peace treaty.”
“Okay, I will do it. Where is it being held this time.”
“Kayden was supposed to tell you,” Jayden responded.
“Okay, he is not here to tell me so tell me where it is being held.”
“In North America.”
“Okay, where in North America Alpha Jayden,” she said, losing her patience.
“United States.”
“What the f**k! Pardon my manners, Alpha Jayden, but I did not travel all the way to Europe, passing through countries only just to go back to the United States.
“I know Adeline but I am sure you won't see him, he might send a representative.”
“See who?” She asked, trying to hide her expression.
“Adeline, I am an Alpha. And I am not stupid. We never asked because we knew how uncomfortable it is to talk about your children's father, but we do know he is an Alpha. We can smell it on them; they have a distinctive odour. You might not see the Alpha you have been avoiding. And you can take the children with you this time, you hardly take them on your travels. The boys deserve to see the world too.”
But…
“No buts, Adeline. We need this, pack your things, you're leaving tomorrow. The flight has already been booked. Delta Dave and the boys will be your travel companion. I am done here.”
“Okay Jayden.”
Adeline Whitlock spent the night packing and preparing mentally for her trip. She left the Redwood pack hoping never to return again. Now, the Alpha international meeting, which takes place twice a year, has become the very reason she must return to the place she fled.
She knew Alpha Jayden would not have forced her to leave if it was not necessary. Moonlight pack needed this peace treaty with Alpha Jackson.
She sighed, the weight of reality pressing down on her shoulders. She silently prays to the moon goddess that if she can't avoid the Alpha international meeting then she should never cross paths with Alpha Maverick.
The dawn of the day got her sons, they , all excited and hyper. Finding out the previous night that they were leaving this continent for the first time got them all excited. Their Alpha strength was evident in the way they ran around the house. She knows that one of them will someday be one of the best runners the world has ever seen.
She called out, "Slow down, baby," as she walked down the stairs. She could not feel Jayden's dominating presence, so he must have already left. He left without saying goodbye, that was his usual memo. He was so different from Kayden in some ways, but it can be terrifying when they are so similar in others.
She flashed back to five years ago when she agreed to moving in with Jayden and Alpha Kayden in their Alpha mansion after spending months in the pack general house. Her plan was to stay with them till she puts to bed, then she gets a place of her own. But then the triplets were born and he bonded with the Alpha brothers well and they asked her to be their sister. And with every month that the children aged it became difficult for her to leave the Alpha mansion. They were used to it and they loved it here.
This was the same Alpha international meeting that Jayden and Kayden flew down to the United States for five years ago, when the moon goddess being so kind made them cross paths.
The flight to the United States was uneventful but she could not stop feeling anxious and determined. Anxious of what or who she will see and determined in getting the peace treaty with Alpha Jackson's pack, the Silver Moon pack.
“When we get to the hotel, I will give you all the information the Gamma gathered about Alpha Jackson and his pack,” Delta Dave spoke for the first time since boarding the flight. He was a man of few words and she was okay with that.
“Okay Delta Dave. I heard he is ruthless and unreasonable,” she said, trying to start a conversation to divert her wandering mind.
“That's what the static says but I have never met him in person. He is a difficult man to see, being the most powerful Alpha on our continent."
“He might be the most powerful Alpha in Europe but not in the world. Can you give me any pointers,” she asked a little hopeful.
“I can't Miss Adeline. But the information which the Gamma gathered will help.”
“Okay Delta,” she said, ending their conversation.
“Mommy, why can't we follow you?” one of the children asked as she prepared for the meeting.
"It is not a place for children," she explained. Which was a lie in any case; the Alpha international meeting allows them to bring a plus two, an heir and a confidant; it was not strictly Alpha, which is why a representative can attend in place of the Alpha.
"It is for grownups, baby. You will get bored. You can play here with Delta Dave.”
“But Delta Dave is boring. He does not play with us like Uncle Kayden or scare me like Uncle Jayden. He is no fun, mommy.”
“I know,” she smiled. Delta Dave wasn't a fun man. “But be grateful he is going to stay with you so act nice, boys.”
“Okay mommy. We will be nice.”
“Good boy. Mommy loves you," she said, planting a kiss on their cheek.
“The car is here,” announced Delta Dave.
“We will walk you to the car,” Delta Dave offered.
“Their bedtime is by ten,” she said, repeating it for the umpteenth time.
Delta Dave said, "Noted," without complaining.
“They are not allowed to consume anything sugary because it makes them hyperactive."
“Noted,” Delta Dave repeated again.
“These children are in safe hands, Miss Adeline. Just worry about getting the peace treaty.”
“See you soon baby,” she said before entering the car which drove off.
