The next several weeks passed as Guy watched in wonder.
I started to work my magic on our new, temporary, neighbor. Initially, The Miller’s had asked us to watch their home. They would be in Europe for three months and figured we might want to help out, but Guy and I have such a hectic touring schedule we just couldn’t make it work and have time to feed their pets and water their plants.
You see, Guy and I are musicians and usually every weekend we are off playing at small bars and clubs all across the country. We usually fly out Thursday night, spend the day Friday exploring a new city and then perform at a club on Friday and Saturday night. Typically, we'll fly back home Sunday afternoons.
