The Poppers Serena Armstrong Every morning I woke filled with fear. The Poppers had descended on Earth three months ago, and in that time, they had consumed two-thirds of the population. They would have ingested me too, if not for a timely radio broadcast. I was heading to work, and had pulled my car into the office parking lot when an emergency transmission came over my speaker. Strange grey creatures had been sighted roaming the streets. They were fast, prone to violence, and responsible for three confirmed deaths.
