Finally, after a couple of days, Hadleigh followed up with Keiron about the power of Ramsey blood. Again, he was on the fence about helping vampires, but concluded that since they were all on the same side and against Lucien, it was for a good cause.
“I think it’s creepy,” Faeden said one morning. “How are they going to do it? Cut us and let us bleed?”
“I think it would be more like a human blood donation,” Hadleigh politely explained.
“Oh,” Faeden said. He mulled it over. “I’ll do whatever Keiron wants.”
After a few more hours, Keiron agreed that they would start with one pint of blood and only if it was done by Jasmine and Hadleigh.
Hadleigh got word to Evan who let Celeste know. For this service, they were indebted to the Ramseys for life, even if only one pint was ever given.
