"I'm great," Hadleigh said through a mouth full of food. She grinned broadly.
"Lord Ramsey," Keiron began. "What has to be attended to after this?"
"Must I remind you again, Jim?"
"Apologies, but yes."
"We're going on a fox hunt."
Keiron and Hadleigh glanced at one another.
"Err," Keiron said. "With a dog?"
"Of course."
Keiron and Hadleigh were quiet. This was a strange development. Were some of the Ramseys humans? The mates continued to eat as much as they could and then stood from the table. After they finished, they left the dishes for the servants.
Lord Ramsey walked over to Keiron and Hadleigh. He waved the others on to go hunting, saying he'd join them later. When he faced Hadleigh straight on, she could see that he had the same heterochromia that Keiron did.
