LANDON POV

Ever since that incident with Martha My wolf, Max, has been on edge. And I can’t seem to get Khaleesi out of my mind. For the past 2 days at training I can’t seem to take my eyes off of her. And seeing her wear those shorts and a sports bra turns me on but pisses me the f**k! Seeing how all the men just stare at her. How they all ask to be her sparring partner. And why the f**k is she always with f*****g Cullen. Every time I see her he’s right next to her. Always whispering in her ear, making her laugh walking to and from her house. I’ve walked past her house a couple of times and I swear I’ve seen that fucker in her room. Is he her boyfriend? Are they friends with benefits maybe? f**k. I don’t understand why thinking about her being with someone else makes me so angry. I’ve never been the jealous type. s**t how can I be jealous of someone I’ve never been with ? I was in the middle of thinking about her when a knock at my office interrupted.

“Come in.” I said

“Landon hey I was wondering if I could run something by you?” Said Cullen. Speak of the f*****g devil and he shall appear.

“Yeah sure what can I help you with?” I said

“So today’s Khaleesi’s birthday. And I was wondering if you’d let a party bus come into the pack land to pick up Your sisters and Khal and our friends. The bus won’t be in here for more than 15 minutes. All the people on the party bus are from this pack. The only outsider is the bus driver but he’s human.” Said Cullen

“Wow a party bus. You’re a good boyfriend Cullen. How long have you two been dating?” I asked. I tried my hardest to say it as calm as possible but by the look on his face I failed miserably.

“Uhh.. not dating. Just best friends since kindergarten.” Replied Cullen

“Oh very well then. You have my permission for the party bus. But there will be 2 guards in there with you all. My sisters are going as well as many young pack members I’d like to make sure that you all make it back safe. Where will the party bus be taking you all?” I asked.

“Of course sir. We’ll be going to Moe’s, the club you own that’s not to far from the pack.” Said Cullen

“Oh great. Maybe I’ll see you all there. I need to pick up some paperwork at the end of the night so if you’re all still there I’ll get us all a round.” I lied. All the paperwork I needed had already been picked up yesterday. I just needed a excuse to go and see what Khal would be up to.

“Thank you Landon. That’s very generous of you.”

“Of course Cullen. Keep my sisters and the rest of our pack members safe tonight. You may go.”

“Thank you Landon. Have a great rest of your morning.” Said Cullen as he walked out.

Finally 7 pm. Officially done with my work day, done with meetings for the day. Now to go check up on my sisters before they leave to Khal’s birthday party.

“Emma, Eva! You girls decent!” I yelled out as I walk up to Emma’s door, I can smell both of them in there.

“Yes come in!” They both yelled at the same time. Goddess I hate when they do that.

“I heard you guys are going on a party bus then to Moe’s for Khaleesi’s 18 birthday party?” I asked

“Yeah we’re picking out our outfits for tonight. We have to look hot maybe we’ll meet our mates!” Squealed out Eva while Emma just rolls her eyes at her. These girls look exactly the same from head to toe no differences. Both have the same long blond hair, 5 feet 8 inches, both look about the same weight, brown almond eyes, heart shaped lips, everything exactly the same. The only reason we can tell them apart is by their scent and how they dress or act. Eva is more of a girly girl. “What? you don’t want to meet your mate Emma?” I ask

“It’s not that Landon. I just don’t like getting my hopes up thinking I’m going to meet him or her. I just want to live my life and when it happens it’ll happen.” Replied Emma

“I get it. Im still waiting on mine but don’t lose hope. I sure haven’t. I mean look at Liam. He met his mate when he was 19. You just never know.” I said. Liam. He was one of the lucky ones. Met his mate at 19 and now they’ve been together for 3 years. Still no pups, said they want to wait since she, Charlotte, is not ready to give up her warrior career yet.

“Exactly Emma. Don’t be a downer. We’ll meet them soon I can feel it!” Said Eva

“Well ok girls. I’ll let you get dressed. Text me when you’re ready I’ll walk you out” I said

“Ok Landon we will.” They both replied In unison

As I walk down the hall to get to my parents suite I’m stopped by Evelyn.

“Landon I was looking for you.”

9 pm.

I head downstairs to meet with the 2 guards I’ll be sending on the party bus. I know I said I’d send them to keep an eye on my sisters and the rest of the pack members but in all honesty I had other reasons as well.

“William, Thomas. Are you guys ready to accompany my sisters and their friends on this party bus?” I asked the 2 guards.

“Yes Landon. We’re ready. We’ll keep them all safe.” Said William while Thomas nodded along

“Good. If there’s any sign of trouble reach out to me or my father. The party bus will be taking them to Moe’s I’ve already informed my security there so they’ll help you guys keep an eye on everyone.” I said

“Got It boss.” Said Thomas

“And one more thing… I need you guys to send pictures constantly. I want to see what my sisters and Khaleesi are doing and who they talk to. You know can never be too safe.” I said

“Uh. Yeah boss whatever you need.” Said Thomas while him and William exchanged weird looks.

“Good. Wait for the bus by the doors while I get my sisters.” I said as I walked away.

“You girls ready?” I mind link the twins

“Yeah. We’ll be down in a couple of minutes. Eva is just touching up some make up.” Said Emma

“ Ok. I’m in the private living room. Come in here when you’re done.” I said

“Ok bro we’ll be there” Said Eva

Once I cut the mind link off. I hear mom and dad, Luna Alice and Alpha John, come into The living room.

“Hey mom.” I say as I get up and give her a hug

“Hey baby.” My mom says back to me with a kiss on the cheek. “Waiting on the girls?”

“Yeah mom want to make sure they get on the bus safely and with their guards.”

“Who did you send with them?” Ask dad

“William and Thomas.” I say

“Good. Top warriors. Who’s birthday is this again?” Dad ask

“Khaleesi. Your friend Jim’s adoptive granddaughter.” I say.

“Right right ! I’ve been so busy with meetings I forgot her birthday was today. How is she doing with her training?” Dad ask

“Good. Great actually. Top of her class. She’s put everyone except me on their ass. Not going to lie she almost got me a couple times.” I reply with a smile

“That’s good to hear.” Dad said with a chuckle. “I’ve always liked that girl. Reminds me so much of my old friend Selena. Seeing Jim and Alessia take care of her the way they do brings back memories of when Selena and I were kids playing with Alessia while Jim stood guard and protected us. So sad she lost her life so young in a rogue attack. Poor Jim and Alessia losing their only pup.” Says dad

“Yeah Jim and Alessia have always been good to us. I remember Jim taking care of us too before he had to retire from being a warrior. It’s still nice seeing him around when he comes over to visit Alessia while she cooks in the pack kitchen or when he comes by to fix something. I’m glad you give him little odd jobs dad. Knowing Jim he’d go crazy sitting in the house since he can’t be a guard anymore.” I said

“Well he’s 71 now son. I always saw Jim like a second father, a protector. My father was a little cold towards me. Never really made time to spend time with me but Jim always did. Even on his days off he’d come by with Alessia and Selena. They included me in everything, really made me feel like I was part of the family.” Dad said

“I know Jim did the same for us when you were out of town on business. He’d come by with Alessia, Khaleesi and the rest of Andre’s pups. They would give mom a break and we’d all play together. Kind of sucked being the oldest one but Jim would pull me apart and teach me some fighting moves so I could help him guard the rest of the kids.” I said with a smile.

“Yeah sounds like Jim. He always wanted a big family. But I guess the moon Goddess had other plans for them.” Dad said

“They couldn’t birth more pups. But they still got that big family they always wanted. To this day me and all my siblings still call them grandpa Jim and grandma Alessia.” I said

“What about grand Jim and Grandma Alessia?” Asked Eva as she walked in

“Are they okay?” Asked Emma

“Yes girls they’re fine. Your father and brother were just reminiscing about the old days.” Said mom

“Oh when they would take us to go play! Best time ever. Thanks to them we became best friends with Khal.” Said Eva

“Wait what the hell are you guys wearing. Why are your dresses so.. short… and tight.” I say with a serious expression.

“We’re 19 Landon. And we’re going to a club that you own. With guards. We’ll be fine.” Said Emma

The girls were dressed basically the same just in their own way. Eva has a velvet pink drawstring body con dress that showed way too much cleavage for my linking. She had on some white pumps with a thin white gold necklace that had a small heart shaped diamond and big white gold hoop earrings. Shiny eyeshadow and a pinkish nude lipstick. While Emma wore a black leather crisscross body con dress with thin leather tie up stilettos. She wore a black choker necklace that has studs and 2 chains hanging off it. Simple light brown and nude eyeshadow with a dark mauve lipstick.

“I think you girls look absolutely beautiful! Don’t listen to your brother.” Mom said as she hugged the girls

“You girls have everything? Credit cards, cash, house keys, pepper spray in case any guys get too handsy?” Asked dad as he got up to hug the girls

“Dad. We’re werewolves with alpha blood. We can kick any of their asses. Plus your son is sending us with guards.” Said Eva

“Yeah and let’s not forget Khal. That girl can fight.” Said Emma

I couldn’t help but smile at her name. That girl really CAN fight. And just like that the party bus pulls up in front and the girls are ready to run out.

“Ok I’ll walk you girls to the bus.” I said

“Bye mom. Bye dad. Love yous!” The girls yelled out in unison as they walk to the front door.

Like i said CREEPY. They never miss a beat.

“Ok please be safe. Any sign of trouble you report to William or Thomas first AND THEN you call me. You guys hear me? I don’t care what it is. I’ll be there.” I say as I hug them

“Yes brother we get it. Don’t worry!” Emma says

“Come on girls get in!” Calls out Cullen from the bus door.

“Alright then. take care of them Cullen, William, and Thomas!”i yell out as the bus door close and they drive off.

This is going to be a long night. I can’t help but feel restless at the thought of them at the club. I’m not sure what worries me more my sisters being there or Khaleesi being there. If that’s how my sisters dressed.. I wonder what the f**k she decided to wear. f**k I can feel myself get mad at the thought of everyone in that club just looking at her. What if she dances with guys? Oh f**k no. I need to distract myself. I go out to the forest get undressed and shift. Maybe this is what max needs I’ve been so busy with meetings I haven’t made time to go for a run. Maybe that’s why he’s been so agitated.

“Ok boy. Let’s do this.” I say

“It’s about time.” Max growls out at me
