The air grew thick with tension as the creature took a step closer, its dark form seeming to blot out the light around it. Suna's heart raced with a mix of fear and adrenaline, his mind racing with spells and incantations. This was it - their first real test against the darkness.
Suna raised his hands, conjuring a protective shield to deflect the creature's attacks. The air shimmered with magic as the creature clawed at the barrier, its dark form rippling with frustration. The creature stumbled back, its dark form crackling with energy. Valecia's eyes gleamed with a fierce light, his vampire powers fully unleashed. "Get behind me, Aria," he growled, his voice low and menacing. "This thing needs to be put down."
Suna saw his chance and took it, channeling all his magical energy into a powerful boost. Valecia's eyes flashed with gratitude as Suna's magic amplified his own powers. Together, they unleashed a devastating blast of energy that sent the creature flying across the room. It crashed into the wall with a deafening roar, the sound echoing through the chamber. The creature struggled to rise, but Valecia and Suna were relentless, their combined strength too much for it to handle.
As the creature lay defeated, Kerl's eyes gleamed with a knowing light. "I've seen this darkness before," he said, his voice low and mysterious. "It's a power that's been awakened before, and one that I've faced in the past." Suna and Valecia exchanged a curious glance, sensing that there was more to Kerl's story than he was letting on. "What do you mean?" Suna asked, his curiosity piqued. Kerl's gaze seemed to drift into the past, his eyes clouding over with memories. "I'll tell you later," he said finally. "For now, let's focus on the present. We have a darkness to defeat."
