FREYA My hand hovered over the door knob, fear taking me captive as I stood in front of the door. What if this was a trap and guards were on the other side waiting to take me captive? All I wanted was my pendant. I didn’t come here to fight Icarus. I was tired of fighting. Bracing myself for whatever was waiting for me on the other side, I squeezed my eyes shut, inhaled a deep breath as I opened the door. My heart was restless, slamming hard against my ribs as the door flung open to a sight that left me frozen on my feet.
