I felt it when the walls came down in Aurora's head. It was so sudden and unexpected that I almost stumbled out of my seat.
I was surprised. How did she learn to do that so quickly? I was also impressed. She might deny it but she clearly was already taking to her wolf side.
I had to resist the urge to push back against her defenses. I mean, I understood why. She was mad at me and I guess she wanted to feel alone in her own head.
As much as that hurt my feelings, I got it and I would never begrudge her her privacy so I sucked it up and I let her be.
