Bryan stood at the window of his office looking out at the view when a knock came to his door. He sighed dragging his hand through his hair, he already knew who it was. It was his brother, he always dreaded visits from him but since it's concerning business he will just have to put up with it.
He took a seat at his desk and got comfortable, "Come in!" He called out.
The door swung open and in stepped his brother, his identical twin in fact. Dylan closed the door behind him before striding across the floor and taking a seat in front of his brother's desk.
"Bryan, how are you?" He asked as he took out his phone.
Bryan rolled his eyes at his twin, "I'm just great, I would ask you the same but honestly I just don't care," He grumbled.
Dylan's head snapped up with a taunting smile, "Oh? Well, then I take my concern seeing as I really don't care. Just being polite," He said.
A little time before a knock came to the door once more, "Please, come in!" Bryan called.
The door opened and a woman with caramel complexion entered the office dressed in a white blouse and black skirt that hugged her hips, she had shoulder length hair and hazel eyes to go with.
"Hello gentlemen, I'm Desiree Thomas," She smiled extending her hand to them both.
Dylan was the first to stand and took her hand in his, "Pleasure meeting you, love. Did you get here safely?" He questioned still holding onto her hand.
"I did, thank you," She nodded then turned her attention to Bryan.
"Thank you for coming, we look forward to working with you," He said shaking her hand.
"Same here, so should we get started?" she asked with another smile.
Desiree took the other seat in front of Bryan's desk, "Now, I know you both have your own business that is going great, but your joint company is excelling at an excellent rate right now. So, I was thinking that this partnership could show women a little bit love," She suggested tucking a piece of hair behind her ear.
"And what do you have in mind for that?" Dylan asked.
She cleared her throat, "Maybe a company auction," she smiled shyly.
Dylan chuckled, "That's cute but I think—"
"Wait, tell me more about it," Bryan cut his brother off.
Desiree's eyes lit up as she shifted in her seat, "Well, I was thinking the men of the company and be auctioned off for a dinner with women buyers and investors and pitch your company's ideas," She explained.
Bryan nodded as she spoke, mesmerized by her features. He hummed as she finished speaking, "I like that idea but what will your company do for ours?" He asked.
"My company will match all the combined money that we raise that night, so don't worry about starting the bidding too low," she smirked crossing her leg over the other letting her skirt come up some.
In the corner of his eye, Bryan could see his brother eyeing Desiree up and down with no shame at all.
"Okay, that sounds interesting. Let's do that, well do you want to go over details sometime next week to get things together?" I offered.
She nodded, "That would be good, um, you have my number and email so just shoot me a call or email to set up a time and place," She said before getting up.
Dylan got up and walked to the door, once she was gone he turned back to Bryan with a slick smile, "I want her," He stated.
"Have her, I'm not interested," He lied with a shrug of his shoulders.
Dylan laughed shaking his eyes, "You say that, but I saw how you were looking at her. But like you said; I can have her so thank you," He grinned grabbing the knob of the door.
He stopped and turned back around to his brother, "Your lost, so don't try s**t," he said before pulling the door open.
"Don't worry, I won't have to cause she'll see through your shitty personality," Bryan scoffed.
Dylan shrugged leaving the office, Bryan was to himself once again. He sat back in his chair thinking of when to meet with Desiree again.
