Kai Virtanen’s POV

I don’t know why Kathleen was so upset with me when we were about to make love, not that I would force her to make love to me. She thought that after our honeymoon in Greece, I was still stuck with her stuck-up sister. She did belittle herself. I have to make sure that everything is fixed, right here, right now.

The look that she gave was all obvious to me. I was not mad nor was I angry. But I was consumed like the beast has claimed myself right now. And you know how much I needed the anger management issue in check. I stalked over her like a beast that was about to burst someone’s head.

“Kai, stop. I said stop. Remember, control,” Kathleen said as she was returning the bookshelves that we had in the master bedroom. All of the books that Kathleen loved to indulge whenever she could.

“Oh? I thought you didn’t want me to control you anymore ever since you said get out of my face just now,” I said darkly as I was stalking effortlessly in her way.

“Kai, no, stop. This is not who you are,” she said as her back was hitting the bookshelf. She stood there as I was cornering her, trapping her under my arms as I tried, mostly tried, to control my anger and my desire for her naked body. The blasted woman did not have anything and I smirked at that.

“You know, it would be much easier for both of us if you just surrendered to your desire, my love,” I whispered darkly into her left ear. She shuddered as she was trying to keep sane from my seduction.

“Kai,” she replied, but I put my finger on her lips, shutting her out. I traced my thumb across her lower lips before she licked it after I removed my thumb. Blood rushed to my groin as I was trying to keep my head sane before I lost it all.

“You need to go, Kai. I want to be alone tonight,” she whispered, but her eyes told another story. I chuckled darkly as she was breathless, making her chest rise and fall at the sight that I would much appreciate if we were in bed right now, making love to one another.

“Do you want me to go, my love?” I said as I nuzzled her neck. She held her breath as I kissed her collarbone and sucked on it to leave a hickey for the morning.

“I…I…I don’t know,” she said, stammering at her words. I smirked against her skin before I looked into her eyes for one last time.

“Very well, I saw you in the morning then,” I said before I grabbed her mouth in a searing kiss that would make her want more if I left her hanging. She gasped, which was good, as I stuck my tongue into her mouth and she grasped my neck for support.

“You told me to get the hell out. So, I’m going,” I said, teasing her, as I removed her hands around my wrist. I wondered what she would do. I turned my back around and walked toward the door before something, or perhaps someone, was pushing me onto the floor.

Kathleen Remes’ POV

After he kissed me the way that no one else did, he had the nerve to leave me hanging. I was lost when he stepped away and walked away from me. I cursed myself for asking him to leave me. I don’t want him to. So, I did what I must do to get the release that I had been craving since morning. I tackled him to the ground.

His shocked expression was priceless but suddenly, it was replaced by something else, something that he had been waiting for for a long time now. I kissed him as I pushed him onto the floor and put his hands above his head in my hands. I was pushing my erected n*****s into his exposed broad chest as I was biting onto his lower lips.
