Christina Dobulski’s POV
“Well, here we are,” Tony said as we were inside the biggest hotel room that I have ever seen in my life. I never knew there was such a room in Romania.
“Your room will be right here,” Tony said as he went to open the door that was adjacent to the master suite.
“I will be sleeping right next to you?” I asked as I turned to look at Tony. He had this amusing look in his eyes.
“No, bella, you will be sleeping in the same room as me but in a different bed and space,” he said as he was drawing the curtains apart. It was morning in Cluj-Napoca and I thought I might have been hit the sack for a while.
“You can rest while I go to meet our clients,” he said as he was looking at me before he ruffled my hair.
“Hey, I just washed it,”
“At home?”
“Uh, duh. I don’t have any money to go to a salon. If anything, I don’t trust them,” I said as I was crossing my hands in front of my chest. Tony chuckled before he went out of the room.
“Don’t wait for me,” he said as he closed the door.
“As if,” I mumbled before I went to lay on the bed. I was looking at the ceiling before I closed my eyes. And soon after, I drifted to the wonderland of my own with Tony as the star of my dreams.
Antonio Romano’s POV
"I was so surprised to see that you have requested my expertise on the wedding, Mr. Conti,” I said as I was sipping on the tea that the cafe was giving to us. It was not as good as the one that I always drink.
"Are you alone here, Tony?” The bride asked. I think her name was Alina Dalca, as Nina put the information into my file. I needed to know who my clients were so that it would be easier to help me to get a vision for their dream weddings.
"Yes, my other assistants cannot make it on short notice. As for my PA,” I said as I was smiling, remembering the look that Christina gave me that I knew she would hit the bed after I was out of her room.
"Let's not focus on me. I would like to know about you guys. What kind of wedding do you have in mind?” I said as I was ready to take some notes for their dream wedding.
"Well, we kind of want it to be small, it is just for family and friends,” Kyle said as he was looking at his bride. I could see that love was in the air.
"Yes, we don't have that many friends,” Alina added before I was arching my eyebrows at them.
"Are you sure, Kyle? Because the last thing I checked, your brother-in-law is a duke,” I said as I was taking some notes for their wedding. Maybe I should be considering the number of unexpected guests that will be showing up at the wedding.
"But that is his friend, not mine. I'm sure you will find it suitable to make our wedding just small and simple,” Kyle said as I was looking at him. Something was missing here. I thought Kyle Conti had so many friends that would love to attend his wedding.
"May I know why?” I pushed him. I could see that he was sweating before his bride was saying something.
"Kyle is just not a people person. He will get anxious if he stands in the crowd for a long time,” she said as she smiled at me. I looked at her before I sighed.
"Well, you cannot argue with the bride-to-be. I will plan the perfect wedding for you guys. So what is the theme for the marriage?” I gave in as I don’t want to focus on anything else right now. Just the wedding.
"It should be maroon and red," Alina said.
"Well, that suits you both,” I said as I was writing it down.
"Okay, what about the cake? Wine?” I asked as I was looking at them.
"We will be having a vanilla and chocolate cake, it will be layered and layered for it. The icing will be in red and maroon colors. I want to be classic but with a touch of bloody red and spooky vibe,” the bride said as she was smiling at me. I can see the vision right now in my head before I scoffed at them.
"My god, my girl, are you trying to plan a wedding or a Halloween party?” I exclaimed at her as I was smiling while I wrote it down.
“Both? Okay for the wine, I think Kyle should answer that,” she said as she was looking at her fiancé.
“Kyle?”
“What?” He replied if he was in a trance or something. I was sure that he was not there right now.
"Wine, what would you like it to be?”
"I would like to have Chardonnay from France if you don't mind,” Kyle said as I was jotting the information down.
"Chardonnay, okay. I think I have it all. Where do you want me to work on this reception party?” I asked before they were talking about how Alina’s mansion did not have a backyard or something. They wanted an outdoor wedding before Kyle suggested they do it at the Conti Lodge in the Transylvanian Alps.
"Very well then, when do you want it to be?” I asked as I was looking at them, getting ready to be out of their lovey-dove way.
"I want it to be at the end of the week. Could you do that?” Kyle said as he was holding his bride’s hand. I looked at their intertwined hands and my heart started to swell.
I wished I had that as well.
"For you, Mr. Conti, anything is possible. Now, if you excuse me, I have a wedding to plan,” I said as I waved goodbye to them, making an excuse to start working on that as well. Once I was out of the cafe, I went to call my PA. I hoped she was not still dozing off.
“Hello?” She answered and my heart was beating wildly in her voice.
“Have you been sleeping well, Christina?” I asked as I was looking at the bright sky right now.
“How do you know I was asleep?”
“I can hear the different pitch in your voice, bella. Now, are you up for an adventure?” I asked her as she was clearing her throat.
“What do you have in mind, boss?”
“I told you to call me Tony. We’re a family, you and I,”
“Like a mother and a daughter?” She asked as she chuckled at her joke.
“I think I have another idea, but enough about that. I want you to get ready. We will be going shopping for some supplies. Are you up for it?” I asked as I was walking toward the rented car that I asked Nina to do in advance. It was a black Audi. Not as sleek as the Lamborghini that I have back in Milan, but it will do just fine.
“Okay, I will be down at 15,”
“10 minutes, Christina,” I said as I went inside the car.
“Gosh, you’re unbelievable,” she said before I laughed.
“You’re my PA. You do as I say,” I said as I started the ignition.
“I wonder who your wife will be,” she mumbled in Hungarian before she hung up on the phone. I stared at it before I tossed it onto the seat.
“Well, you’re about to find out, Bella,” I said as I was smiling from ear to ear as I was driving out to the hotel where we were staying together.
I think I love Romania even more.
Peter Rovski’s POV
“Sire, we have alerted all the National Security but they haven’t found any trace of her,” the guard said as I was looking down on the Budapest nightlife. I had been worried sick that my Christine was not at the mansion. I was worried that she might be kidnapped by someone.
“Beloved?” My wife said as she was holding my hand. I was stressed because there would be a gathering here but they did not know about Christine’s existence. I can still do it that way.
“We have to wait until she is here before we can announce her presence to the world,” I said as I was patting her hands. She smiled weakly at me before I turned my gaze to the guard.
“Get me Secret Service. I think I have the man for the job,” I said before the guard nodded his head at me and went out of the throne room.
Oh, Christine, I hope you were alright, my child.
