Antonio Romano’s POV
“Well, tonight has to be perfect, Eddy,” I said to the prince as he was smirking at me.
“And you’re planning to get to my sister by being someone else?” He asked as I just smirked at him. I was trying to get the dye on all of my hair. It was easy for me to do for other people, but I was not that professional when it came to self-dyeing.
“You know your sister. She doesn’t like other people so maybe I just wanted to tease her a bit,” I said as I was waiting for the dye to settle into my hair. It will be semi-permanent for the next few weeks.
“I still don’t get it.”
“You don’t have to. So, did you get what I asked of you?” I asked him as he was motioning his head toward the bedroom that I was in when I was supposed to do a makeover for Christine.
“Hmm, it was nice and all, but why was it in that color?” I asked him as I was mentioning the navy blue Armani suit. It was not a good color on my skin.
“Why? Is it wrong?” He asked. I rolled my eyes at him, as he did not get fashion at all.
“It will make my skin paler. I need something that will show off my tan skin,” I said as I was searching for another Armani suit that he brought with me.
“I thought you said navy blue?”
“Dude, that was for you. For me, on the other hand, it is black,” I said as I was wearing the black Armani suit that would go perfectly with a violet tulip that I would put in my pocket later.
“You’re so demanding. I don’t know what my sister likes in you,” he mumbled.
“My good looks, charms, and charisma, of course,” I smirked as I went to the bathroom again as I was checking my dye. It was 30 minutes now. I can hop into the shower now.
“Okay. Time’s over. I never to get ready. Now, off you go,” I said as I just shooed the Prince of Hungary out of his father’s castle room that I had been preoccupied with at the moment.
“You’re unbelievable.”
“Why, thank you,” I said as I shut the door in his face. If I told anyone about this, no one would believe it.
“I don’t mean it as a compliment,” Eddy mumbled behind the door before leaving me alone. I smiled as I shook my head.
“Now, let’s get this cover on the move,” I said as I went to the shower and opened the faucet. I adjusted to the right temperature before I shoved my head under the water. It is advisable to use cool water when taking off the dye residue in the hair.
I washed the hair as well as using the color-treated shampoo and conditioner. It will make my hair look smooth and silky. Just how I wanted my hair to be. The black dye was on the tiles of the bathroom floor as I shook off all the dye products in my hair.
“Well, that was a fun experience,” I said as I was getting off of the shower as I looked in the mirror at my new and improved appearance.
“Well, it could be better,” I said as I was shaving my stubble and washing my face as well as brushing my teeth. I smiled before I was getting ready for the ball.
*~*~*~*~*
I was remembering the memory of that moment when I was dyeing my hair as I looked in the mirror. It was my first day back in the office, as I knew the black was still there.
“What are you doing, honey?” Christina asked as I was looking at myself for far too long. I looked at her reflection before I smiled as I turned to look at her. She arched her eyebrows as if I was just smiling at her.
“Nothing, I think the others will ask why I have black stripes in my hair?” I said as I mentioned the hair. Christina was looking at it before she shrugged.
“You can just tell them the truth that you used hair dye to trick your PA that you were another person that got engaged and married her,” she smirked as she was caressing my chest. I growled at her but she just laughed.
“Nina will make fun of me for the rest of my life,” I said as I was circling my arms around her waist.
“Or you could say it was a new trend that no one has ever done yet. You will set a new trend which will be good for your business. Many elite members will want to have that style,” Christina said as she was examining the stripes.
“Best use permanent dye,” she said as she winked at me before she tapped my nose.
“You’re the best.”
“I know, but you still haven’t answered one question for me.”
“What is it?”
“Who is Nina to you? And don’t say your secretary because I see the way you look at her,” she said as she pointed her finger at me. I smirked at her green monster. I think I liked it when Christina got all jealous of me.
“You don’t know?”
“About what?” She said as she was arching her eyebrows at me.
“Nina’s my little sister,” I said as I was hugging her, sniffing her sweet scent. It felt nice.
“Oh, I don’t know about that.”
“Did you not read the boutique’s pamphlet?” I asked as I was trying to control my amusement. My PA was something else.
“Well…I have something else going on my head,” she said as she scurried away from my hold.
“Don’t you mean me?” I asked as I was getting out of the bathroom.
“Come on, we will be late for work,” she said as she was taking her handbag and headed out.
“I’m the boss. I was never too late,” I said before I went to get my phone, wallet, and keys as I closed the door before Christina was waiting by the front door.
“Yeah, and I was the Princess of Hungary,” she retorted. I laughed.
“Was, that’s the keyword.”
“Whatever,” she said as she was dragging me out before I closed the door and locked it. We went to the car and we got off to work.
Well, it looked like I would have more fun with my PA after all and, lucky for me, she was also my wife.
