Katherine Remes’ POV After I learned what happened after the conference that my sister, Kathleen, and my brother-in-law, Kai, had gone through because of our estranged uncle, I felt like I had to confront the person that I called my fiancé, Chris. “Chris?” I asked as I saw he had just entered into his chambers from the window. I don’t know why he was coming from there. Did he not know how to get through a door like a normal person? “Katherine, what are you doing here?” He asked as he was looking wildly around the chamber. I thought he was looking for something but when he sighed, I arched my eyebrows at him. “What do you want, Kat?” He asked as he was sitting on the sofa that I occupied before.
