Two days after meeting Nerus, Lithir went to Flindar"s Silden, asking for an audience. The clerk on duty was the same as Lithir"s first visit and carried his message to Flindar. Returning, he asked if Lithir could return the next day, for Flindar was busy.
Seeing the arrogant look on the clerk"s face, Lithir responded silkily but with venom, "No, for tomorrow my companion and I will be leaving the city center with or without escort, and if Flindar wishes me to overlook certain things that have happened here since I arrived, he would be wise to make time for me now."
