"Why did you do that?"
Matt said, scratching his head in frustration. I was seated on the sand, 5 meters away from the sea. I didn't have a choice but to stop by this place because they kept shouting, causing me to panic.
We were at the beach, B and Sammantha were taking photos of the sea, posing for their i********:, while Matt and Kris were sitting with me. My eyes were still wet, not knowing how to stop tearing up when hearing Lola's voice over and over again inside my head.
I don't know where I found the urge to shout back at the Valencia queen when my own family never even budged, except from Venorem. I don't know if I could ever trust my parents and Saxon ever again. He did not even try to tell Lola to stop or to just tell me it was fine.
Everything is too heavy right now, and from this night, I still can't make myself go home, not knowing if Lola could ever forgive me. And I'm guessing she will never.
Why the f did they think that I would love to marry a guy whom I don't even know for my whole life? I mean I know him a bit. He's arrogant, a little handsome, but still.
"What if something happened to you, huh?" It was Kristoff, looking at me with a brow raised, causing me to lose track of what I was thinking. His dark and bushy brows made me think that he was quite mad.
"Nothing will." I said in a low voice, lifting my gaze to the peaceful light of the bright moon.
"V, stop being stubborn." Matt clenched his fists, a sign of his growing frustration.
"Stop being worried then." I said, glaring with my eyes ablaze with a mad look at Matt. Seriously, nothing would ever happen if I died. Could it ruin the family?
"V." I turned my look back at Kristoff again when he started talking with an angry look, stopping me to stump my feet in the sand.
"But that was totally cool. Stop scolding V" Beatrice said as she clapped her hands dramatically, feigning astonishment with a touch of sarcasm, causing everyone to look at her.
"Oh, shut up." I rolled my eyes as I turned my gaze at the sea, enjoying the sound of the peaceful nights without any shouting and crying, just a peaceful night full of scolding from my older cousins.
B gasped dramatically, a hint of sarcasm lacing her tone.
"Can you just be serious for once, Beatrice Gold?" Sammantha said, crossing her arms with an exaggerated movement as she walked towards the car, leaving B with an open mouth, dumb founded.
"Hey what the hell did you say b*tch" Beatrice stormed ahead, her fists clenched in anger, chasing after Sammantha who was in the car. "You know I don't like to be called like that, hey!"
We watched them storming off. What a peace. But still, how could I ever look for a brighter light on my path now? Since Lola was mad at me, I couldn't go inside the estate, I think.
"Ugh, I hate having a fckng sister." Kristoff stood up, also chasing after B to stop her. B was currently punching and slapping the car window while Sammantha was honking the freaking loud car!
"Glad my sister was not crazy." Matt said, referring to Margarett who was on her phone, away from us, unbothered. He sighed frustration.
"Aren't you supposed to be worried about your car?" I chuckled dryly with a sarcastic tone.
"I'm a Valencia, I can affor hundreds of those things" he smirked with an arrogant tone of his voice. How sarcastically amazing, bragging about his money.
The girls at our backs became more wild as Kristoff was still stopping them. And my mind landed at Sammuel. Where is he?
"Where the hell is Sammuel, by the way?" I asked. Matt and in time, someone shouted behind our backs.
"Why the f is everyone in chaos right now!"
We immediately stood up as we saw Sammuel, catching his breath just got out of his car.
"And now he's here". Matt and I ran towards his car, 15 meters away from the sea.
"He volunteered to stop the guards from following you." We continued running towards them and Sammantha and B finally stopped. B's hair was in a mess, and Sammantha finally got out of the car, raising her eyebrows.
"What are you going to say now?" Sammantha then again teased Beatrice's patience, but B could no longer move because her brother, Kristoff was holding both of her arms on her back.
"Fvcking stop, Sammantha!" Sammuel dragged her away from Matt's car into his car and locked her down as Beatrice snapped her brothers' hands away from her and got inside the back seat of Matt's car with her arms crossed on her chest in anger.
What a full chaos!
"kids" I heard Marga whisper as she got inside my car.
I just shook my head and sighed in frustration and was just about to grab the door of my car, but Kristoff held it first. "You are not driving."
I was happy to see my cousins fight every time.
***
We drove home. Kristoff drove my car and Margarett was with me in the back seat, while Sammantha and Sammuel were in Sammuel's Porsche 911 turbo, ahead of us; Matthew and Beatrice in Matt's Ferrari.
I can't help but admire their care. I even thought that Venorem would come with them. But he did not. All I can think was the earlier's chaos of Sammantha and Beatrice. Sammantha really loves picking on Beatrice's patience.
Sammantha was the type of girl who loves everything in sky, with her long flowing hair and towering height, exudes an air of confidence as she navigates her world with a mischievous glint in her eyes. Her beauty carries a hint of a Latinian accent, adding an exotic allure to her presence.
Despite her aspirations to become a pilot, a dream that ignites her passion, she finds herself at odds with her mother's wishes, leading her to pursue a path similar to yours, albeit a year younger. In her interactions with Beatrice, there's a subtle satisfaction in pushing boundaries and stirring up emotions, a dynamic that fuels her rebellious spirit and determination to carve her own path.
Beatrice on the other hand, with her fiery passion for racing cars, stands out amidst a sea of competitors with her impressive collection of sleek and powerful vehicles. Her high ponytail, a constant companion, signals her readiness for the thrill of the race, while her impeccably styled outfits exude a sense of confidence and sophistication.
Despite her love for speed and adrenaline, Beatrice possesses a short fuse when it comes to patience, a trait that adds an edge to her competitive spirit on the track. In the world of racing, she is a force to be reckoned with, blending style, skill, and a relentless drive for victory in every race she conquers.
And don't get me started on Margarett, the student lawyer, exudes a quiet confidence as she navigates the complexities of the legal world with grace and poise. Despite her stunning beauty, it's her passion for justice that shines through, evident in every case she takes on.
A unique sight on her way to school, she effortlessly maneuvers her motorcycle through the streets, a symbol of her independence and determination. When she speaks, her words carry a weight that commands attention, revealing a sharp intellect and unwavering resolve. Margarett's silent demeanor belies a fierce determination and a formidable presence in the courtroom, where her skills as a lawyer leave a lasting impact on all who cross her path.
Her brother Matthew, my favorite cousin and best friend who teaches me to be wise, a gentle man with high-sky dreams. He was a seasoned pilot, cut a striking figure with his mature charm, rugged handsomeness, and commanding height. His years of experience in the skies are evident in the confident way he carries himself, exuding a quiet authority that draws admiration from those around him.
With a weathered yet distinguished look, Matthew embodies the essence of a true aviator, his gaze reflecting the vast horizons he has traversed. Whether in the cockpit or on solid ground, his presence is magnetic, a blend of professionalism and a hint of adventure that sets him apart as a man of both skill and sophistication.
Sammuel, the dedicated student doctor, carries the weight of responsibility on his shoulders as he navigates the challenging world of medicine with unwavering determination. Despite the demands of his studies and the pressures of his profession, his thoughts often stray to his sister, Sammantha, a spirited soul who seems to find trouble at every turn.
The bond between them runs deep, and Sammuel's protective instincts are always on high alert, ready to come to her aid whenever she finds herself in a predicament. As he juggles the complexities of his medical training and the worries for his sister, Sammuel's compassion and sense of duty shine through, defining him not only as a skilled healer but also as a caring and devoted brother.
And lastly, Kristoff, also a devoted and caring brother of Beatrice. He was the epitome of an exceptional engineer, embodies a rare blend of technical prowess, creative ingenuity, and unwavering dedication to his craft. With a keen eye for detail and a mind that thrives on problem-solving, he tackles complex engineering challenges with ease and finesse, earning him the reputation as the best in his field.
Whether designing innovative structures or optimizing systems for peak performance, Kristoff's work is marked by precision, efficiency, and a relentless pursuit of perfection. His colleagues and peers look up to him with admiration and respect, recognizing his expertise and visionary approach to engineering that sets him apart as a true master of his trade.
And me? Don't even think good. I was just the beautiful problem of the clan.
