Eloise's POV
Milo cheated, and Ignatio can also be like that. It could be something that runs in their blood.
But the reason why I was worried about Ignatio was what I didn't understand. It wasn't like I meant anything to him.
I was supposed to concentrate on the pile of work I had to attend to on the computer, but that was all I thought about. Not until Milo stepped out of the office hours later, Ignatio following behind him.
"See you some other time, Eloise" he winked.
No, go to hell. "Yeah, sure" I smiled at him.
Ignatio saw him out and I finally focused on the laptop.
When he came back, he didn't act like I was there, and I also said nothing.
Maybe things should really be like this? Just a boss and staff relationship.

"Eloise, it's time to go home," Ignatio said, standing in front of my desk.
I looked up at him. He looked stressed, having spent the whole day attending meetings which he didn't even let me tag along to.
"I'll be done in a minute" I replied.
I cleared my desk in seconds, grabbed my bag, phone, and stood up.
"Shall we?" I lifted my gaze to Ignatio and could see his gaze lost on me.
He quickly blinked and chuckled breathlessly. "Of course"
He led the way and I followed behind him. Soon, we were in front of his car.
Ignatio opened the car door and I slid in without effort, also without a word.
He also got in and drove us to the mansion in silence.
After getting in, I wanted to walk upstairs, but he stopped me.
"Let's have a little chat. I'll get you a glass of water" he said, then walked away immediately.
My forehead creased in confusion. Ignatio wants to have a chat?
I walked back to the dining table which was just right beside the stairs and waited for the glass of water which arrived shortly.
Ignatio appeared with a mug filled with water in one hand, and two glasses in the other.
He dropped the glasses and filled them with water while I gently took a seat.
"Milo. Who's he?" He asked, passing the glass to me slowly.
My hands were hesitant to take the glass, but I did.
I took a sip from the glass. "He told you already, didn't he? He's a friend from college"
The glass made a loud thud on the table even though I dropped it gently.
Ignatio also sipped from the glass. "You dated him, Eloise"
I blinked and my whole body shuddered. I tried to talk, but spluttered.
"How did you know?" I finally asked in a stutter.
"I could tell from the way you looked at each other" he trapped his glass of water in the middle with his hands holding the table firmly.
I said nothing, only nodded.
"Did he f**k you?" The words were said with force.
I leaned back on the chair, crossed my arms and held his gaze.
"No, we tried. But it just never happened" I shrugged.
He sighed in relief. "Tell me Eloise. Did you love him?"
"Of course, I did," I almost laughed.
I loved Milo, I wanted to give him everything if I could.
"And now?" Ignatio asked.
I tilted my head to the side, raising a brow. "And why are you so concerned about that?"
Ignatio clenched his jaws, took his gaze away from me immediately, and asked the question again.
"Do you still love him, Eloise?"
I stood up from the chair and stepped closer to him.
Standing so close to him made him lift his gaze to look at me. Our gazes lingered for a while before I took one more step closer to him, fully closing in on the space between us.
"I don't, Ignatio. I think now I'm into men my father's age, especially ones who are my father's friends" I smiled.
Ignatio groaned. "Eloise, you--" I cut him off.
"I'll get the signed rules to you tonight, and I'll be in my room" I moved away from him, and walked upstairs before he could say anything.
In my room, I searched for where I had dropped the contract or whatever he handed to me last night.
I had gone through it, all I needed to do was sign.
I found it in one of my nightstand drawers, scribbled my signature on it and took it downstairs.
But Ignatio was no longer there.
I looked in the kitchen, everywhere downstairs, but he wasn't there.
That made me return upstairs. I stood in front of Ignatio's room and could hear the shower running.
Slowly, I creaked the door open. My gaze landed on the tinted glass of his bathroom and I could see his shadow.
He ran his hands over his body, the water from the shower cascading over his hair.
I turned my gaze away, and dropped the signed rules on his nightstand. I was supposed to head out immediately, but I froze.
Something in me wanted to take a look. "Just a peek" I told myself.
I took a deep breath and tiptoed to the bathroom.
The glass door was slightly opened, and I could clearly see Ignatio under the shower.
Naked. Breathtaking.
His whole hair was wet, sticky to his head. His body was lathered with soap, and his hand ran all over his skin.
I gulped. I should take my eyes away. I should move out of the room, but no. Instead, my gaze found its way to his lower part of his body, landing on his c**k.
I blinked, once. My head started to get filled with thoughts about him, about what I'd like him to do to me at the moment.
Everything in me wanted to walk into the shower and start touching him.
But when the soap on Ignatio's face got washed away, and his eyes fluttered open, everything in my head vanished, getting replaced with the fear that I had been caught once again.
"Eloise?" He croaked, staring at me in disbelief.
