Jean-Marc successfully recovered, and, as always, drew exquisite clothes for wealthy ladies. Now he knew that love could be suffering for one person and a game for another person. The young man became withdrawn, completely surrendering to professional duties.
Eugenie, understanding the friend’s state of mind, did not bother him with conversations. She hoped that the young man wiser after such a cruel lesson and will continue to be more careful.
