Tonight we celebrate by going out to a restaurant. Of course, it’s McDonald’s to please the kids. Blondie and I are thankful that Emme’s family will now have a conclusion to her story.
Tomorrow morning’s Arizona Republic will run my story. Now that Clarence McDowell is sentenced, her family can rest in peace. It’s always a good feeling to help bring closure to a homicide. Especially a young girl. No one wants to let itrest and bury a body as just “Jane Doe.” No one, not the police department, the coroner, the newsmen, the photographers, the lab people, or anyone else associated with the case.We hang around McDonald’s probably a little too long but everyone is enjoying the evening.
