I lean back in my old rickety desk chair and ponder what I have researched. The police departments in the various towns are understaffed and aren’t putting much attention into locating missing runaways. They have much bigger cases to pursue with limited personnel and finances. What does that mean? Well, the gangs can pretty much run rampant with their k********g schemes. They are using male and female teams that don’t draw a lot of attention to themselves. They are getting away with hustling these kids into vans, slightly drugging them so they are asleep, and then driving them into Mexico unnoticed by border patrol.
