"How can we keep such vital information away from our parents" Kevin complained for the umpteenth time after Tamara had narrated the whole incident to him when they got back to her room
"They are actually saddled with a lot of responsibilities, we can't just disturb them with something less important" Tamara argued
"Oh, you mean something less important like their daughter who has no interest in magic flying around, teleporting and lighting up books" Kevin snapped
"Let's give it a try. If she can't control her powers for the next one week, then we'll have to tell someone" Ian said as he stood up from the chair and walked up to them
"One week?, Who learns spells in one week" Tamara complained "let's make it one month, please!"
"Okay, deal" kevin groaned in defeat
Tamara finally decided to take spell classes seriously based on the new realization. She would get private spell lessons from her brothers in addition to the ones she'll get in school. If she can't control this newly found powers of hers it might cause trouble and she wasn't ready to be a distraction to the witches who should be spending their time tracking down the enemy.

"Tamara Walt" Mr frederick called bringing Tamara out of thought land
"Morning sir" She responded quickly as she raised her head from the desk adjusting herself properly
"Are you alright, you've not been listening" He asked with a look of concern
She smiled and nodded her head in response.
Halfway through the lesson Tamara began to feel a bit tweaky. She excused herself from the classroom and ran into the rest room. She gazed into the mirror in shock. This time there was no bright light rather her eyes were blue. She kept on blinking her eyes hoping it'd turn back to it's normal colour but it didn't .
"Magic works according to your mind and your mind is disturbed. You need to relax"
She turned her head towards the direction of the voice and she immediately shrank on the spot.
"I'll answer all your questions but first you need to get back your eye colour before students will start trooping in" Fred said as he walked up to her
Tamara took in a deep breath, closed her eyes and focused her mind on getting rid of the blue eye colour. She opened her eyes and fortunately her eyes was back to it's normal brown colour.
"It worked" she exclaimed in excitement.
Realizing Fred was still with her, she dragged him out of the restroom and into the school field to avoid raising suspicion.

"Can I get my explanations now" I asked immediately we got to field.
For a moment i was lost in his gaze, starring deep into the eyes of Evergreen's most popular boy. I couldn't believe that I'd be able to get to talk to him this close.
"Drooling won't give you answers" He said with a smirk playing on his lips, making me snap out of my thoughts.
"Well...... talk" I stammered in embarrassment
"You really suck at hiding your powers you know. I saw what happened to you yesterday"
If i knew how to perform a spell that compels I'd have certainly used one on him and asked to pretend like he never saw anything. I couldn't risk being exposed.
"Is that supposed to be the answer to my question" I snapped impatiently.
He sighed and dipped his hands into his pockets looking at me "I am also a witch but from a different coven"
"What?" I exclaimed in total disbelief
He seemed to notice that i did not believe, so he smiled at me and said "I'll prove it"
"Okay, so where's the proof" I asked impatiently
"Look behind you"
I turned around and saw a ball floating in the air. The levitation spell can only be done by well trained witches so that clearly stated that he's well trained.
"Which coven are you from" I asked turning to him
"The Emperor's Coven" He answered
I stood there starring at him in total shock. The Emperor's Coven is the most powerful coven in the world. They have well trained witches and that actually explains his skills.
"But how come I didn't know" I asked
"Well unlike you some of us are very good at keeping our powers in check"
"Wait...... Us?" I asked
"You seriously think you're the only witch in this school" He questioned almost laughing "I am very certain there are but they're maintaining a low profile"
I slowly walked up to the bench in the field and sat down, and he also followed suit. We didn't talk for minutes because we were probably trying to digest this new realization.
"Why have you been having magic accidents since yesterday" He asked breaking the silence "Aren't you afraid it'll implicate you"
I took in a deep breath and narrated the whole incident to him
"Teleportation, huge fire accident, bright light coming out from your hands and now your eyes suddenly turned blue. That's like first class magic" He said "And funny enough you're not even trained to do any of those"
"I know and that's what make it worse" I replied
"If you are going to tackle this issue you will need to start by figuring out the type of witch you are. And with that you will get to know all about your powers and how to control them" He suggested turning to me
"I can help you do that"
"My brothers are already working on it. But you seem to be well trained and your skills can be of help, so yes" I nodded in agreement
We heard footsteps coming towards our direction and we immediately ran to our class.
The bell went off signaling school over and it was time to go home and continue my spell lessons. I haven't looked forward to attending spell classes like i do today. I knew that not controlling my powers means problem and i certainly did not want to face one.
