*Somewhere on earth*
Deep inside the dark cave, the box containing the head of the creature was opened; and it took in a deep breath before finally speaking up
"How was the mission"
"We got a good number of them wounded and few rendered powerless using the black gas
"So they are now defenseless"
"Not really, there was one of them with strong magic. She was the one who stopped the black gas from spreading"
"Anything that seems to be a barrier should be eliminated"
"I can get you to her"
They turned towards the direction of the voice
"Nora, you should be at home...."
"Dad I'll be of a great help if you let me" She balked
"What do you have in mind" The creature asked with keen interest

She ran into the cave seeking refuge away from the beast that hunted her. She felt drawn into the cave for reasons she couldn't fathom and that made her advance deeper inside. She wanted to go back but it was like she was being drawn into the cave by a strong magnetic force field.
Despite the darkness in the cave and cobwebs that clung unto her skin as went further she didn't deem it important to turn back. She would either turn back and get feasted on by the beast or walk further and satisfy her curious persistent mind.
She got to a particular segment of the cave and felt something that seemed to be a door; she pushed it and it creaked open. Immediately it opened up, candles lit up in every corner of the room revealing the books that hung on different shelves by the walls. She kept on telling herself to turn back but her legs were saying otherwise.
She felt drawn to a particular book that laid on a desk so she went further to see for herself. She sat down on the chair by the desk ready to feast her eyes on the book. She carefully cleaned off the dust particles that were in the book and opened it. To her utmost surprise the book had no words in it, she flipped to different parts of the page and still found nothing. Weird!
"Tamara"
She heard her name and scanned the environment in fear looking for where the voice had come from
"Tamara"
She heard the voice again and it's familiarity hit her
"Mum" She screamed and woke up to see her mum sitting by her bed and looking at her with a gaze feeled with concern. Hot liquid was flowing down her skin; she touched her skin and realized that she was sweating like she had just ran a marathon.
She clung unto her mother quivering in fear. And her mum patted her back soothing her fear.
"Am here now darling you're safe" Mrs Walt assured
Tamara looked at her mum and smiled. She felt safe in her embrace and didn't feel like disengaging the hug. After she seemed to calm down she opened up to her mum about the horrifying dream
"Maybe the book didn't reveal itself to you because you're holding back from it" Her mum said tucking her back to bed
Holding back? Could it be because she didn't accept the fact that she was a weaver. She felt the need to tell that to her mum but decided against it, this wasn't the right time to make such revelations she thought.
" Mum can you sleep here for the night" She pleaded for the fear of having such gruesome dream again. Her mum replied with a smile and lay by her side. Slowly she drifted into slumber.
