PARENT'S RETURN

TIFFY P.O.V

It's been two day since I had first contact Clinton , on that same day we had contact in the night , and ever other night since , and on Wednesday morning when I called him he said he had to go to the cemetery to visit his dead father.

I wanted to ask him if I could join , but because it was a family thing I did not bother asking , so instead I told him good luck. and we conversated when night had fallen.

Now it was Thursday the day my parents are supposed arrive , my dad had contacted me on Wednesday saying he and Mom would arrive the next day.

It was no 3:35 p.m. my dad had once again contacted me today , saying he was 10 minutes away.

I stepped outside waiting for my parents to arrive , exactly 8 minutes later my parents limo pulled up , after their chauffeur got out of the driver's seat he went and opened the left side of the back door for my parents.

my dad was the first one who stepped out of the car , he stretched out his hand for Mom to also step out.

I then walked to them , hugged my dad then my mom.

" welcome back Mommy and Daddy

I said as I step a side to give them way to walk into the house.

as we all entered the house , we went and sat in the living room , while a male servant went to the driver to help with Mom and Dad's luggages.

" so how did the business deal went. " i asked as i sat on my favorite bean bag.

" truthfully it went exceptionally well. " mom said and the dad nodded in agreement.

I known you it was time for me to tell them about my plans. I sucked in a nervous but then calmly let it out.

" Daddy , Mommy I have something important I want to discuss with you both." I said , to which both my parents stares at me.

" what is it honey. " dad said I'm looking worried , his high Brows scrunched up in confusion and concern.

" because I I'm an adult now I feel I need to have my own personal space , so I'm thinking of moving out. " Tiffy said holding her breath.

" what happened to make you want to move out , have we not provided for you enough , do you want a bigger suit or to change it , I can a make few changes for you " dad said storming me with all these questions that I couldn't even remember what the first question was.

" no Dad it's not any of that , I just want to live my own life with my own house , and if I have a boyfriend what do you think I would do , bring him here to my parents house. " I said.

" so you want to move out because you have a boyfriend. who is he I want to meet him immediately. " dad immediately shouted standing up to his full height , while Mom sat staring at me calmly.

" no no Dad it's not any of that , I meant , ugh I don't have a boyfriend , but I need my own space and that's all that , you have to accept it somehow , plus you don't have to worry that bad I will be staying with Ava. " Tiffany said trying to convince her parents , well trying to convince her dad she mean.

" no you're my daughter it's so it's my duty as a father to protect you , and by protecting you I will have you here at our home . " dad said in a final tone , but I was in backing down I had to move out at some point and it will be now.

" no dad it is not your right to keep me here , locked up , as a human being I have the right to live the life I want and I want to move out , it's not like I'm cutting contact with you or Mom , I will still be here in the City when you need me. " Tiffy said now standing also , shouting at her dad. she loved her dad but she know he could be a hot tempered man and stubborn , like she was.

" okay let's calm down , Tiffy we will talk about this after dinner. " Tiffin mom Ella said standing up and holding her husband arm Draging him to maybe their room.

Tiff is sat down on the couch appearance had been seated on , and rubbed her face , she knew maybe that this conversation wouldn't go well , but she had never expected her dad to get that angry.

Tiffy took out her phone out of her jeans pocket , and then called Ava ,

" hey bestie , whatsup. " Ava Center sounding happy , not the way if it was feeling right now,.

" things didn't go well with Dad. " Tiffy whispered and she laid on back on the couch. feeling a day coming on to her.

" what didn't go well oh~ that , what did he say , that he won't allow you to live the house. " Ava said , guessinly , she was half correct in her guess.

" yeah some thing like that. " I replied , not wanting to relay what had just happened.

" I will come and spend the night at your house. " Tiffy said , she did not want to see her dad right now or at dinner , so instead she'll go over to Ava's home , spend the night , then come back home in the morning.

No , it's better you face your father now or he would think he had won this battle , so it is better if you face him at dinner and after dinner just see what happens , but you should know that your father is just angry that you're leaving, he loves you , so he's concerned for your safety , my dad was totally angry when I told him, his face had look like he would explode , but in the morning he had calmed down and said he was sorry for overreacting. so just see what happen , when you guys talk. " Ava said , this was one of the reason why I loved her , even though she had a sassy and sometime unbearable personality she is a good advisor.

" Ok , I think what you're saying is true, I will sit through the dinner and when the times come to talk , I will try a much calmer approach. " Tiffy said , finding water friend had said very reasonable.

After both of them talked for a while see hang up , she then went up stair to take a bath and calm down.

After Tiffy had finished taking a bath , She did the usually, then she checked the time and saw it was 4:33 p.m.

Dinner time is 6:30 p.m. every day , so she had exactly 1 hour and 57 minutes to do anything she wanted to do. so she went to her favorite spot which was the second garden with a large fountain in the middle.

When she went to the second Garden , she found one off the gardeners taking out some weed in the garden.

Tiffy wanted some thing to do so she asked the gardener if she could help in any way , he agreed , Tiffany was sure he did not knew her or that he didn't know she was the Herbert's daughter , our house you would have denied her help as every other staff did.

" Are you new here , I have never seen you around here before. " Tiffy said starting an conversation.

" yeah I'm new here , my father was the original gardener , but because he is now sick I asked the owners if I could work in his place until he gets better . as we come from a family of farmers , everyone in my family knows how to guard a garden. " he said.

" Ok , what is your name by the way I totally for got to ask. " Tiffy said with a sheepish smile on her face.

" My name is Andrew Jackson , so what is your name. " he said drawing out a weed that was beside a set of lilies.

" My name is Tiffy Herbert. " Tiffy replied truthfully , to see it reaction.

" Oh well it nice to meet Tiffy Herbert- wait , what , you are Tiffy Herbert the owners daughter. " he said , looking up at me in shock.

" Yes I am. " she said smiling at him. tring to keep a laugh at day , with his funny shocked face.

she heard him mumbled I can't believe I made the owner's daughter draw weed out of the garden.

so she reassured him , that she did it all the time , with all the other staff , and also said it was there way of knowing them , which was a half lie and half true.

after that he had agreed to let her help him.

When it was near to dinner time she smelled terrible so she had to take another bath.

by time she had done bathing , only 10 more minutes had left to dinner be ready , so she hurriedly get ready and went downstairs in 6 minutes , when she had reached the dining table she saw both her parents seated already , with the dinner laid out on the table , 'good evening' she had said and then went to her seat beside her mother.

No one said a thing during dinner , as everyone finish eating their dinner and resigned to the living room as they did every other night.

she looked at her dad wanting to hear what he was about to say , as she knew he was about to say something.

" I and your mother came to a term of difficult decisions and we had made up our mind that you will get to live in your own home , BUT the term are that , I will pick the house you live in , and you must come here at least 2 time a month , and we will visit you when we want to are we clear and I will also pick some staffs for your home. " her dad said , and Tiffy was so excited that she wanted to shout out YES , but she went over to her dad and hugged him and mom saying 'thank you' , and that she agreed to there terms.

after sitting and talking to her parent about some other things.

She skipped off to tell Ava and Clinton the amazing news. she was so excited that on her way up the stairs she slipped and hurt her knees and and palm , she groaned and knew that she would be feeling the backlash of the pain tomorrow , but right now she was too excited to even be mad at the stairs as it was not her first time slipping on them , their family had an elevator in the house for any one to use even the staff , and it take to every on of the suits , but she rather take a stairs which help to strengthen the leg and thigh muscles.

she went to her room and slipped into a pair of comfy pajama pant and shirt , then she catches her hair in a pony tail.

She said a word of prayer to God , then she took up her phone to call one of her new favorite person Clinton.
