Honeymoon Suite

Joanna's Point of view: As we exit the Airport the first thing I see is a palm tree. The next thing I see is a Seagull sitting on someone's car. The rental car that Jack rented for us is already parked right out front so all we have to do is get into it. It's a shiny little baby blue Honda Civic. The interior is a gray leather. There's even an air freshener already hanging from the rear view mirror. As I slide into the driver's seat, I'm instantly relieved by the cool leather. The thermostat says it's 110 degrees outside and I am thankful that the rental company was right on time as the air-conditioning is still on. 1 hour later: We finally made it to the hotel. I should have made Jack drive, I kept getting lost while trying to find the place. Jack is a terrible navigator and his asking me if I see the hotel while pointing is the worst and not helpful at all. As we walk into the hotel I can't help but feel a bit overwhelmed. It's so grand! I've never stayed anywhere this fancy before. The minute we drove up to the hotel there was a person waiting to take our luggage and a person ready to park the car. Right when we walk into the lobby I see a white leather couch with a few matching arm chairs around an oval shaped table that has a glass top and brass claw foot legs. There are a few side tables next to each piece of furniture that match the coffee table. The entire sitting area is on a giant brown and white striped rug. We have to walk around the rug to go to the reception desk. As we walk up to the counter a lady smiles at us and asks how she can help us. Jack is telling her our reservation number and getting the keys. The bellhop, as I'm learning they're called, is helping us wheel our luggage to our room. The elevator has a long gold bar going around it's middle for people to hold onto and mirrors instead of walls, there's a blue carpet with green leaves on it as the floor. Stepping off the elevator there is a long hallway with doors on either side and a carpet that matches the one in the elevator lining the floor of it. Our room is at the end of the hallway on the right, room 240. Stepping into the room, I see a living room like area with a white suede love seat and a mahogany coffee table in front of it. Directly in front of the coffee table is an entertainment stand built into the wall, there are shelves underneath a set of cupboard doors. The first shelf has a silver Sony DVD player and 2 remotes, I'm guessing one is for the TV, and the second has nothing on it. Inside of the cupboard doors is a black 42 inch Roku TV. Up a set of 2 stairs is another room with white painted French style doors. As I open the doors, I see a king size bed with a white duvet and 6 fluffy white pillowcased pillows. Next to each side of the bed is a mahogany bedside table. Turning as I enter the room, I see that there is a mahogany dresser built into the wall opposite the bed. Above the dresser is a set of cupboard doors just like the ones in the living room area, there's a remote on the dresser so that must be the TV for this room. Through another door directly to the right is the bathroom, complete with a black and white marble Jacuzzi tub, a matching marbled shower is next to it with the biggest shower head I've ever seen. The counter top for the sink is also the same color marble, and the sink basin is a big glass bowl with a drain. The faucet is a touch faucet and there's various pump hand soaps next to it. There's a mahogany shelf with several white fluffy towels, hand towels and wash clothes on it, directly across from the sink. Going out of the bathroom door I see another door, so I cross the room and exit out of it. To the right is the living room and to the left is what appears to be a dining room. There's a round mahogany table sitting on a white rug and 4 chairs that have gold metal backs and legs with red velevet really fluffy cushions. There's a set of glass French doors that lead out onto a patio with a small glass topped table. It has silver legs and 2 matching silver chairs with white pillow cushions. This is where I find my husband. My wonderful gorgeous husband. "Mr. Cade" I say in a teasing voice as I join him. "Mrs. Cade" He replies in the same teasing tone. "What do you want to do now?" I ask him "Sleep" He replies in a seductive voice while waggling his eyebrows and lifting me up bridal style. I giggle in response as he carries me to the bedroom. About 6 hours later: I'm the first to wake up and I have to walk naked to get my clothes out of the dresser since Jack already put everything away. I decide on a light blue sundress with pale pink flowers adorning just the top, there's a white ribbon that separates the pattern part from the rest of the dress and ties behind my back. I pick out a pair of lacy black boy shorts and matching bra and then head into the bathroom to shower. The water feels amazing and the shower head makes it so I'm entirely covered in the streaming water. There's soap containers on the wall, one with shampoo, one with conditioner and one with body wash. It smells so good, like Lavender and Roses. Stepping out of the shower, I see my husband waiting for me with a towel. Still naked as well, waiting for his turn at the shower. I give him a passionate kiss as I take the towel from him. "mmmm. Thank you, baby" I say. "Anytime beautiful" he responds. As he showers, I decide to order room service. Neither of us has eaten since the plane. "What would you like to eat? I'm going to order for us so it's here when you're done." I shout in to Jack. "Surf and turf, you choose." Jack replies once the soap is off his face. I call the restaurant that's in the hotel and order each of us a steak, medium rare for him and medium well for me and 2 lobsters with a salad. Jack comes out of the bedroom then and we decide to watch a movie. They have the Wedding Crashers on one of the channels so we start watching it. It's about halfway in when the food arrives, so we paused it so Jack can answer the door. He comes back in without the food, but he's holding a bouquet of flowers. It's exactly like the bouquets we had at the wedding and there's a note inside a small envelope that reads "Enjoy your happiness while it lasts"
