I watch Dorothy play with my neighbors kid outside by the fence.
It brings a smile to my face. He’s a sweet little boy named Ted. He is a little beautiful special needs baby. Seeing him with so much abandon of joy and glee on his face is so enthralling to watch. Seeing him like that gives me a glimpse of what is untainted in this world. He might never be a normal kid but he would always find joy in doing the little things like playing with the neighbors dog.
I know with the way he takes care of my dog whenever they play or the bond the seems to have with animals his mother would love to adopt one for him but she’s a single mom who works two jobs if not more. I help babysit whenever I have the chance and I end up spoiling him with sweets and candy. God knows she needs as much help as sh
