CHAPTER FIFTEEN

SKY's POV 

With AirPods plugged in I sway my hips to the best of the music that floods my ears as I listen to the new Ariana Grande's Album 'positions'. I mean she's an absolute icon and this new style of music is such a bomb. 

I work carefully on the decorations of a batch of cupcake order. I had already made the birthday Cake and decorated it a day ago. It as well is packed that to go. They are for a little 6year old birthday party, The theme of the party is purple wonder so I put a lot of purple into the decorations on the cake. I even put a picture of ‘Sofia the first’ her favorite princess on the cake. 

I finish up with the last batch and pack them up neatly in boxes and move them from the back room to the front to have them delivered personally. 

As I move to the counter, Heather attends to customers. This is our own rush hour, early in the morning people come in for their pastries, croissants, tarts, muffins and pies to have them with coffee, smoothies and shakes. 

I hear someone call out my name, I turn around and it's Jeff.

"Hello Jeff, so good to see you, how’s Jane doing?" 

"She’s doing okay, very cranky when she wants her  sweets." He says with a wince. 

" it’s pregnancy hormones causing the sudden craving for sweets and chocolate. The other day she wanted tacos in the middle of the night, she cried and cried for me to go and get by three a.m in the morning, I had to drive round the block looking for taco stands. When I brought them she cried that I didn’t get her a drink, that I must not love her anymore if I could buy tacos without a drink. I mean it’s tacos ." He says with a weary face.

I try to keep the mirth out of my voice, but it is very hard because all I want to do now is burst out into laughter. 

"Omigod, she really did that to you?. Jane is something else entirely, isn’t she?."

"When is the baby due?." I ask with a wide grin on my face. I can’t wait to be an Aunt for the first time.
