That hug. That hug.I wasn’t sure who needed it more—Scott, myself, or us both equally. Two hours later, the embrace should’ve been a distant memory. Except it wasn’t. He’d felt so good in my arms. A solid weight and presence. Not some ethereal being like he’d seemed last night when he’d first dropped the twins into my arms and took off. This morning he felt more grounded.
