Lauren put down the smart pen and pushed her glasses off her face to rub her eyes. Her stomach growled in hunger and she groaned, dropping her head on her desk.
" You need to rest," Lily poked her head through the open door but she only groaned louder. "You've been working for three days straight. At this point, you'll collapse."
"It's a lot of money, Lily. I have to put in a lot of effort. That means triple the workload and brain power-"
"No, none of that. You function best when you're well rested and have had enough to eat," Lily stormed towards her and lifted her face up. "Go home. Get some rest and take two days off. You'll be fine."
