Lauren heaved a sigh as she watched the delivery man leave. "Yes, he just left," she said into the phone.
"I'll get to work as soon as it gets here. I cannot wait to see the design this time, you keep surprising me."
They talked for a while and she hung up later, going back into the studio to pack her things.
"Now that you're done with this, what now?" Lily asked, sitting on her desk. She had a small build so she could fit there without any problems.
"I don't know--"
"Before you forget, you're jobless," Lily said. "You quit your job, remember? You'll just wither away in your house and hopefully Leo finds you first before death," she wiggled her brows in a way that made Lauren smile.
