"Father?" I repeated after her in shock. I watched her face become pale, and the color drained from her face as if she had just seen a ghost. I have never seen her this blank and bubbling with all kinds of emotions I couldn't quite understand.
I didn't know she had a father! I followed her gaze to an elderly man seated alongside the other dignitaries. I recognized him immediately. I had seen him a couple of times at the summit I hosted regularly to keep the Kingdoms in check and ensure the balance never gets disrupted.
