It felt humiliating to see Liam and Alicia in my room when I woke up. I knew she must have told him, and the look in his eyes made me feel bad about myself. Liam and I always told each other everything since we were kids. He must feel betrayed that I had never mentioned something like this to him, and I felt horrible because I had intentionally hidden it away from him, and if I had my way, he would never have found out.
I yelled at Alicia harshly, and she fell silent. I couldn't control my anger; I wasn't even sure if it was anger I felt or if I was hurt. Liam walked over to her and whispered something to her, and she left the room without another word, leaving me alone with Liam.
