Chapter Six A Chorale, Dinner & The Ride Home Culture is more than a behavioural expression of ‘the way we do things around here’. It’s a source of inspiration and aspiration as well as a window on the sentient wonders of appreciation. We spent many hours and days in one gallery after another just looking at works of art and trying to imagine what was going through the minds of their originators as they conceived and then perfected their pieces. As well as visual art there’s also music and we learned that a local Bach Chorale was singing in the cathedral and we could reserve a table for afterwards at a nearby restaurant.
