Sappho & The Boys
Much of our time together had been spent in restaurants, bars, hotel and other bedrooms but there were other places for entertainment and these included night clubs and discotheques. It was one of these that provided the venue for this adventure.
Aware of the potential for crazy behaviour among some of the younger community I’d chosen a salubrious club on an off-night so I could keep my eyes open and my wits about me. We settled at the bar for drinks and I bought a bottle of Champagne. The music was good and seemed easy to dance to: at least it pleased me and I felt able to dance to it!
