To break the sudden, intense silence, Zayd quickly opened his laptop and turned the screen toward her. "Let me show you what I worked on last night. I added a new security layer to protect the children's medical privacy. It uses end-to-end encryption, so only authorized therapists and the specific child's parents can decrypt the daily progress reports."

Zara leaned closer to look at the screen, her shoulder brushing lightly against his arm. Neither of them pulled away this time. She looked at the thousands of lines of complex code, completely in awe of his intellect.

"This is incredible, Zayd," she whispered, her eyes skimming the text. "You did all of this in one night?"

"It was worth it," he said softly, his voice dropping an octave. He wasn't looking at the screen anymore; he was looking at her profile, the elegant curve of her pastel pink hijab framing her face. "Zara, I’ve never met anyone who matches my drive like you do. Working with you these past few weeks... it's opened my eyes to what a real partnership is supposed to feel like. It's not just about sharing a task. It's about sharing a vision."

Zara turned her head slowly, finding his face only inches from hers. The bustling noise of the café—the steaming espresso machine, the clinking of porcelain plates, the chatter of other customers—all faded into absolute static.

"I feel the same way," Zara admitted, her voice barely a whisper. "I used to think that I had to choose between my career and getting married. I thought a husband would just be someone I had to serve, someone who would restrict my dreams. But with you... I feel like my dreams are actually bigger."

Zayd's eyes shone with a mixture of profound joy and deep relief. He opened his mouth to say something more, his hand moving slightly across the table toward hers, when suddenly, a loud, cheerful voice shattered the moment completely.

"Oh my goodness! Look who it is!"
