Chapter 3 “I’m Not That Dumb”

It's been weeks since Ghide started her job as Sua Callix's maid. So far, nothing happened between them. Sua was very busy at work that she can barely see his shadow. 

"And when he's at home, he never look at all," Ghide complained while cleaning the living room. Seconds after, her optimistic attitude came to rescue. "It's okay. We're living under the same roof so I'm sure we'll see each other more in the future." 

It became a habit, sulking and cheering herself. The reason why Sua was against of hiring her at first is because the maid who will work for him must stay at his condominium. He thought it'll be okay as long as she's an old lady. So when he saw Ghide, he opposed hiring her. But she's stubborn, enough to pull his pants  while begging. Thinking that she must be really in tight of money, Sua accepted her and gave a free room to accommodate. But all decisions have butterfly effects. Since there's a young girl in the house, he spend most of his time in his workplace. 

"He will stay here on weekends," Ghide thought. 

Unfortunately, it won't happen. Sua has a business trip on Saturday and Sunday. But it's not wrong to hope, right? After all, she's doing her best to protect her life. However, the hindrance for "Seducing Sua Callix mission" won't stop just at the fact that he doesn't go home. When Ghide went inside Sua' room to clean it, another man outside the condominium is on his way to pile her more worry. 

Heavy eyelids, reddened cheeks and sloppy movements, a man, named Johneey, looks sexier when he is drunk. “Lalalalala~” he hummed, reaching his Sua's condo unit’s doorknob. But no matter how he tried to open it, he couldn't coz it’s locked. “Bro! I’m home! Open the door for me!” 

The last resort he thought are shouting outside and banging loudly, but received no reply at all. 

"Don’t tell me, he’s at work?” he pouted with his heart-shaped lips. His eyes side-tracked to the security lock pin as he mumble, “Pin. Password pin. What could his password be?” After some thinking, an idea popped in his head. “Ahhhh. His ex-wife’s birthday.”

Using his sister-in-law’s birthday, Johneey succeeded on opening the door. Thus he went in and straight to the red sofa. By the time he had the time to look around, he realized a rare thing. 

 “His house is clean,” he mumbled. 

 He knows Sua is a kind of guy who doesn’t have the time to do household chores. So it is unavoidable for Johneey to feel a little bit suspicious. Nonetheless, his questions got its answers when an unfamiliar girl walked out from his brother’s room – Ghide. 

It was too surprising for the both of them since the two thought that there is no other person inside the unit. She even accused him a thief for a second, but had a change of mind after seeing his handsome face. Johneey realized that she maybe is his brother’s maid because of her maid outfit. 

‘I think I saw this guy before,’ she reminded herself. 

"My brother got a young maid. This is suspicious,” he chuckled before sitting up and giving a playful smirk. 

 They said ‘First impression lasts’. So when she saw his smirk, an alleged of him being a p*****t came into her mind. 

But how could he not smirk when he saw her are wearing a short skirt?

 ‘Ahh. I remembered. I saw this guy in one of sir Sua's picture frame.’ Ghide remembered. So she slightly bowed her head to show respect and greeted him back. “Hello. My name is Ghide. I am sir Shua's new maid. I just finished cleaning his room.” She pointed the closed door behind her. 

 “You are being so defensive,” he chuckled then placed his chin at the top of the sofa’s head, without avoiding her eyes. “I thought for a moment that you are my brother’s girlfriend. But then I remembered that he still into his ex-wife so it will be impossible.” 

That information is quite shocking. All this time, she thought that Sua is a bachelor. So she asked, “S-Sir Sua have a wife?” 

'Why Jethro didn't say a single thing about this?!' She continued internally.

 "He had. But now he’s single,” Johneey added. 

 "All along, I thought he is always been single,” Ghide murmured and he heard it. 

“Do you want to know more about my brother?” he asked in husky tone. 

‘Of course! So I can leave right away,’ having these thoughts, she nodded by his question. 

Johneey then made a hand gesture, asking her to step closer. “Come here. I’ll tell you about my brother’s little secrets.”

Too innocent or too dumb, she went closer to him and about to sit on the same couch per his instruction. But he suddenly grabbed her wrist, pinned her down and went on her top, holding both of her hands. 

It was too fast that she didn't had the time to realize what the hell just happened. Only her heart beats reacted faster than her brain. 

“H-Hey, what are you doing?” she complained. But as she tried to get away from his grips,  the drunk guy smashed his lips onto her. “No!” she shouted as she tilted her head left to right, right to left continuously. 

When Johneey pulled back, he stared at her for seconds. Ghide looked at him with tears around the corner of her eyes. “I am maybe an i***t brother just like what others have said. But wearing this kind of seductive outfit as your work uniform, I knew that you have ulterior motives to my brother. I don’t know your whole situation but this will serve as a warning. If you ever do something to my brother, I’ll make sure you’ll regret it. It won’t end with just a simple kiss.” 

He stood up, wiping his lips then looked back at her for few words, “Don’t worry. I won’t tell this to Sua. Also, you are not a good kisser, it sober me up. Tsss~”
