It was a bright morning as the scorching heat from the warm sun was burning her cheeks and Pranavi rubbed her eyes in a daze while yawning.
Instinctively, she fiddled with her hands to feel Jwalin’s body beside her, but all she could feel was empty space.
For a second, she was taken aback and abruptly opened her eyes, only to see that Jwalin was nowhere on the bed.
And in the next second, the events from last night rushed into her head and she pursed her lips in worry and her face paled.
She inhaled deeply and licked her dry lips and anxiously tried to get down from the bed, although her head was throbbing pretty hard with the heavy drinking and the bruises on her face weren’t helping her either since her entire body became stiff.
