A wave of energy hit me, causing me to sit up abruptly out of breath. I noticed the sun was barely coming up, so maybe it was around 6 AM. I felt a swell of happiness in my chest where the empty void was once, the void that could only be filled by being accepted into a pack. I couldn’t comprehend what was happening, until Sotiras spoke.
“We belong again,” She said in low voice. “Belong where?” I asked her.
