Rheya, our betas, Tyler and I decided we wanted to have a meeting with just us to discuss a patrol and training schedule. Rheya had to walk Nev up to her parents’ room before she joined us so we told her we’d wait for her.
But before they left Nev ran up to me and reached up for a hug, I picked her up and wrapped my arms around her and she stretched her little arms round me. “Goodnight Daddy!” She said as she hopped down and ran to Rheya. We looked at each other confused before they began walking up the stairs.
