The Missing King

The whole night, Xian and I didn't sleep. I was busy activating all the GPS last night and Xian joined me. 

"Your eyebags are big," He said while laughing. I just ignored him and went beside the side table of our bed to call for a room service. I ordered food for us since it's almost five in the morning. 

After I ordered I went back in front of my laptop to see the progress. The signal and internet connection here aren't great that's why it took us long to activate the GPS.

Xian and I almost jumped out of our seats when we heard a loud knock in our door. 

"Is that the room service?" Nagtatakha na tanong ni Xian. 

I just ignored him and he stood up to open the door. When he opened the door, Jasmine came in as if she's on a rush. 

"Hey, what happened?" I asked and immediately went to her. She's holding a gun and she really looks frustrated.

Then she started crying which made me feel worried.

"Shawn," Her cries started to get loud as she mentioned my brother's name. I felt a heavy thing on my chest as my heart started to pound hard. 

"What happened to my brother?" I tried to calm myself but it's just too hard.

"Shawn ...Shawn is missing," I swallowed hard when she said that. Suddenly I can't think properly. As if my mind were blank and getting dried up.

"We'll look for him," 

"But how?" Jasmine kept crying and crying. Her sobs were getting into me and I needed to calm. 

I went back to my laptop and switched on my brother's location.

"RMOKISH0001 is in the Labyrinth Island SW 1105 8103" I read loud the exact location of my brother. 

Labyrinth Island. 

"No," Jasmine cried again. This time it's getting heavier and heavier as she passes out. 

"Om my god!" I exclaimed. Good thing, Xian is just behind her and he was able to catch her. "Lay her first and I'll just call the rest," I told Xian. He just nodded and laid down Jasmine in our bed while I made calls.

My hands were shaking as I dialed Margaret's number.

Inigo Shawn P.O.V

After talking to my sister, I immediately followed Jasmine in our room. 

"Hey, where are your other stuff?" She asked me as I get inside our room. She's already packing up our things except for the guns. She carefully laid the guns above our bed. I went to her and stopped her from doing anything. 

"What?" She looked confused as I stopped her. I didn't answer her and just sealed her lips with a kiss. 

"Hey," She pulled away laughing. "What's with you?" she asked. 

"Nothing. I'll just get us something to drink." I said and pinched her cheek before I turned around. 

"Just call a room service," She said and started fixing the guns. 

"I'll get something straight from the cellar," She just nodded and continued what she had been doing. 

I sighed before I twisted the doorknob. I glanced at her for the last time before I locked the door. 

I kissed her as I'm not sure when I will be able to do that again. 

When I turned around, I saw a shadow near the end of the hallway. I ignored it and continued walking towards the elevator. 

Instead of going inside the cellar, I went out of the hotel and walked towards the shore. I can still feel the presence of the person that has been following me since last month. 

I stopped in the middle of the sand and pulled out my phone from my short's pocket. I dialed Irish's number. 

Dialing Irish...

"Hey," I greeted her. 

[You called,] She knows what is happening. The moment I discovered that our new enemy is someone from the island, I told her that I'll call her if something would happened to me.

"I think it's time," I couldn't really finish my sentence as I suddenly felt something pricked on my neck. My vision started to get blurry and my hands started to shake. 

[Inigo!] 

I wasn't able to answer Irish as everything went black.

Angel P.O.V

Jasmine just woke up and she seems calm right now. 

"My brother is missing," I started. They didn't say anything and remained calm. 

"He said he'll just get something in the cellar last night but he didn't come back. I tried to look for him for hours and I saw his phone near the shore," Jasmine put my brother's phone above the table.

Kinuha ko 'yon at binuksan. 

"Do you know the password?" I asked Jasmine. 

"Your birthday," Jasmine. I wanted to cry. My brother just loves me so much. 

My hand is shaking as I typed my number and it opened. It's in the call history. 

"He called Irish last night," My deductions are right.

"Who's Irish?" Jasmine asked. 

"Our cousin," Red said. 

"Isn't she the woman that was supposed to be the highest council?" Shyna suddenly asked. 

"Yes," Red said. 

"We never saw her again after three years after the war." Margaret 

"We never knew her reason why she left," Michael

"It's a long story. Right now, she'll be important to us." I paused a bit and stared at Margaret. "What are your plans for Aga Margaret?" 

"I'm torn. I want to leave just to make our son safe," Margaret sighed before she continued. "But I just know i have duties and I don't want to abandon you all," 

She started crying. Michael immediately went to her to console her. 

"Margaret, more than anything I want your son safe." I would not put Aga in a dangerous situation. I'm more than willing to make Margaret and Michael leave for Aga. 

"Maybe we can send Aga to your father Margaret," Shyna suddenly suggested. 

"What can you say?" Michael asked Margaret.

"Would you be fine with that?" Michael. 

"I think Aga will be safer with my father in London." She seems not sure about her words. 

"Are you sure about this Margaret?" She just nodded. 

"Then, we'll send Aga using my private helicopter," I said. 

"Thank you Angel," Margaret said. I just nodded and continued. 

"Next thing we will be going home to prepare ourselves. We'll meet in my house there I will tell you the next plan," 

Just like my plan right now, they all went back to their room to pack up and leave. Jasmine is left here.

"Jasmine be strong," I told her before she left our room. Xian and I started packing our stuff. 

When we are about to depart, Margaret told us she's going to ride with us. Michael will be the one to get their things in their house. 

Xian is the one driving, while I'm sitting beside him. Margaret and Aga are in the backseat.

I'm busy monitoring our locations using the laptop.

I opened the map where my brother is.

"If I'm right, the Minotaur is in the North, Knossos is in the South, Agamemnon is the East, and the Menelaus is in the West. Right?" I asked Xian.

"The Olympus is in the middle," He answered while driving. 

"I have here the map of the island and my brother's GPS is in the South," 

"In the Knossos part?" Margaret joined the conversation. 

"Yes," I answered back. 

We were silent a bit before I picked up my phone to call a reaper. It's the reaper I asked to investigate for me.

[Queen,] she greeted me. 

"I have something for you to investigate," I didn't bother to make an introduction. I went straight for what I needed.

[I'll follow your orders Queen,]

"I'll send you an email about the things I needed you to investigate. I need this tonight," I said that while sending the email. 

[ I saw the email Queen. Is there any specific time I need to send the final report?] She asked politely. 

"Before midnight is fine," I told her. 

She has a whole day to investigate. Which is a long hour for a reaper. I put back my phone and saw Aga sleeping on Margaret's lap.

"Margaret, can I install a GPS in Aga?" 

She caressed Aga's hair before she looked at me.

"Do it when he's asleep," She said. 

"Of course Margaret,"

The four of us took our flights back to our places. Later, we were able to go home safe.

"I'll be in the basement," told Xian and Margaret. Aga is still asleep, so Margaret followed me in the basement to put Aga down in the bed. 

"Are you sure about this?" I asked while cleaning and preparing all the stuff I'll be needing. 

"It's for his safety," She looks worried but she still let me do it. 

I inserted a warm IV on Aga. I checked her vital statistics before I injected anesthesia on him. 

I cleaned myself before I put on gloves and all necessary safety precautions. 

I checked Aga again before I lifted the scalpel. Margaret left the basement as she could not bear to see Aga in this situation. I just let her leave and felt thankful that she trusted Aga's safety in me. 

My actions were stealth as I'm being careful. Aga is still a child and it needs more supervision than doing this to adults. 

After finishing up, I called Margaret and Michael. They brought Aga inside a guest room where they are staying.

It's already afternoon and I decided to activate the glass bullet proof in my house. I went inside my room and saw Xian fixing my clothes. 

"Hey," I called him. He turned around and welcomed me with a hug. I hugged him back. "Are you tired?" he whispered

I pulled away before I nodded. 

"You should rest and I'll prepare the tub for you," My heart felt warm when he said that. 

"But you're also tired," 

"I was able to rest earlier when you were operating n Aga," 

I just couldn't stop Xian and let him do what he wanted. I sat on the edge of my bed and removed my shoes. I laid my body a bit to rest. 

Little later, Xian went out of the bathroom. His shirt is wet. My heart just melted with the sight of Xian. God, I love him so much!

We went inside the bathroom and I saw my tub with water on it. It has petals and bath bombs on it. There's champagne beside the tub and scented candles.

This is my favorite way of relaxing and he just knew me too well. 

I felt my eyes getting teary as I stared at his effort. I hugged him tight as I just couldn't tell him my feelings in words. I didn't care if my dress got wet. I just really want him to feel my emotions. 

"Thank you baby," He caressed my back as I cried in his arms. "You should relax," I nodded. I pulled away a bit but not removed my hands on his waist. 

"Please join me," He stared at me for a moment before he spoke. 

"But I want you to have solitude," He caressed my face before he continued. "That relaxed you the most baby," I never wanted to become a baby again. Not until now. 

"I'm relaxing and happy at the same time if you'll join me baby," 

I just also want Xian to relax. He has been there for me. He has always been tired but he never showed it to me. 

"Okay I'll join you," I almost jumped out of happiness. 

We both jumped inside the tub naked. We didn't do anything and just relaxed our soaked bodies in the tub. We finished up as we drank the entire bottle of champagne. 

"I'll just call my Irish," 

I'm about to dry my hair but I just can't wait until I talk to Irish. 

We already dried up and we're just wearing our robes. 

"I'll just put my clothes on," Xian said before he entered our closet. I just nodded and dialed my cousin's number. 

Dialing Irish...

It didn't take Irish long enough before she answered the phone call. 

[Took you so long to call,] She greeted. 

"I know. I've been a bit busy," 

Which is true anyway. I installed the GPS in Aga and I took a bath. 

[So, Where's your brother?] 

My brows furrowed with her question. I thought she would know. 

"You're the last person in his call history. I'm assuming you'd know," 

She chuckled.

[And obviously, I don't know. I wouldn't asked you if I know where he is,] 

"Then what did he say to you last night?"

I'm assuming I'll get something from Irish. I just need something that can pinpoint his whereabouts. 

[Last night, he said someone has been following him for months and if my deduction is right, he's already here on the island. Now what's your plan?] 

The plan. 

"I wanted to reach Hera. Maybe I can ask for help," 

That's the first plan. I don't want to risk anyone. That's why I'm for the safest step. 

[That would be impossible. Talking to Hera would be easy but involving her, I don't think so.] 

I already know that. Hera is the Queen of the Olympus. She's also the Queen at the island. The highest Queen among the Queens that are living inside the island. But I'm still hoping their past flame would somehow spark something in Hera's mind. 

[What's your other plan?] 

She knows I always have a backup plan. 

"Get our asses there." She remained silent for a moment. 

[Tell me when you're already decided. I'll help your asses to get here,] 

The call ended after we talked about she's going to help us. 

I started drying my hair and I just noticed that I'm still wearing my earrings. My eyes narrowed and suddenly remembered that my brother was wearing an earring. 

I tried to remember exactly what earring he's wearing. 

"Oh my God!" 

"Why? What happened?" Xian went to me running. He's still inside the closet.

"I just remembered, my brother is wearing an earring," I said as if it's good news and something new. 

"He always does," Stating the obvious. 

"It's not his normal earrings. It's a pair of earrings used as communication device," 

"So we can use that earring to talk to your brother," 

"Right. I just need to know which model he's using and then we can contact him." 

I didn't bother to change my clothes. I'm still wearing a robe and immediately get my laptop. I switched it on and opened an application exclusively used for the Red Mafia Organization. 

Normally, it would take me long enough to find a certain device. But my brother's earrings are specifically made for him. 

I turned on every pair of earrings that my brother owned. I went to the map and saw that all of his earrings are in the same location. It's in their house near us. Some pairs are in my house. I checked the Labyrinth Island's map and saw a certain pair of earrings. Located in the Southern part of the island. 

This must be it. 

My hand is shaking as I reach for the mouse and move the cursor. I clicked the exact pair of earrings that is located on the island and activated the communication device inside it.

Completed. The device is now activated. 

I volume up the sound so I can hear it more. It had this high pitched buzz. It's just silent. Then we heard a heavy breathing. 

"Is that..." Xian couldn't finish his sentence. 

"Kuya," 

The other line is just silent. I'm slowly losing my sanity but then I heard my brother's voice. 

[Angel...] 

My jaw dropped and I just couldn't believe that I'm talking to him right now. 

"I'll just call Jasmine," 

I nodded and started talking to my brother. We never know what risk this would do. 

"Are you o-okay?" My eyes started swelling up. I can feel the hot water in my eyes as I asked my brother a question. 

[Shhh... don't cry! I'm fine.] His voice sounds like he isn't. Which makes my heart break into pieces. 

"I was able to know your exact location. You're in the Southern part of the island. In the Knossos. I just don't get the reason why they wanted to eliminate us," 

"Angel..." my brother wasn't able to answer me as Jasmine went inside my room abruptly. 

[Jasmine...] 

Jasmine started crying as she went closer to me. 

[You're being a crybaby,] my brother chuckled as he said that. 

"How can I not cry in this situation?" She sounded like a kid ranting about her toys. 

[I'm fine. I'm sure my sister knows what she needs to do,] 

I suddenly felt the burden of being a Queen. My brother isn't just a brother. He's also a colleague. He's a responsibility. 

"Yes. I've already come up with a plan." 

"You do?" Jasmine.

"Yes. First I need to talk to Hera. Maybe she can help us. She's the person who can make things possible," 

My brother and Jasmine were silent as I said that. I know Hera is my brother's ex-girlfriend but if she's the one who can help my brother then I don't really care about their issues. 

[It's no use. She's part of the Olympus Organization. Involving her in this feud will only make things worse for us.] 

"Earlier, I talked to Irish. She also said that. Which me leaves me no other choice but to get myself there," 

my brother, Xian, and Jasmine were silent. 

"You might think it's gonna be risky but to be honest, it's the safest way." 

[I agree on that. If you will become a member of an organization, no one at the island can touch you. The Olympus would eliminate them immediately for you,]

"That's right. If we can't get Hera involved in this, then let's get the whole Olympus involved." 

Right. That's just right. We don't need to eliminate the enemy. We'll let them get eliminated, legally. 

[Hey, turn off the device. Someone's here,] 

"We'll get you there," 

I promise. 

The three of us went silent as I turned off the device. But we heard a knock from my door. Xian stood up and opened the door. 

It's Nicole. 

"Hey, dinner is ready." 

"You two should go down. I'll follow you. I'll just make a call," 

Xian, Jasmine, and Nicole went down, leaving me alone here. I need to talk to Irish. 

Dialing Irish... 

[Hey,] she greeted. 

"I need your help" I don't need to make an introduction. She just knows I'll be needing her help soon. It just happened too soon.

[When?] 

"I'm thinking this week. I was able to contact my brother," 

[You did? How?]

"He's wearing a communication device." 

[You're such a genius. You thought of that. So what's your plan?] She sounded amaze at first but then, her voice became stern as she asked about my plan. 

"My friends and I need to enter the island," 

[Can you save your brother with that plan?]

"It's no longer just saving him. It will just settle the present and leave our future at risk," 

[Knossos will be tough,]

"I know that. That's why we need every possible information we can get about them. Do you know any?"

[I know a lot. The Knossos Organization was established a long time ago. Although they were established for some quiet time, their rulers are newly appointed.]

"How new?" 

[They were appointed the time I started the organization. Their King is Minos and their Queen so Pasiphae. King Minos' biological name is Lux Dion Baltimore, the twin sister of Diane Agatha Baltimore. The long lost son of Aengus Baltimore. Now you know every possibilities why they are doing this,] 

"Revenge," I simply stated. If King Minos was the person behind those recent attacks, then we see no other reason but revenge.

[I think he doesn't know that his father was the one who killed our parents.] 

Her parents are the fifth Mafia boss in the Red Mafia-Assassin Organization. Her mother is my father's sister. 

[So how can I help you?] She asked.

"We need to enter the island legally. So no one would question our identities," 

[We can do that in a way of recruitment. That's the easiest way to get in here legally,] 

"Then we'll do that," 

[Do you think your friends would allow you to do that?] 

"If they wouldn't do this as my friend, then maybe my authority will make them agree," 

My call with Irish ended well. I just need to tell them my plans. 

"Hey, we are waiting for you." I sat beside Xian. 

"I'm sorry I made you all wait. I called my cousin who has been residing in the island," I started talking about my plan. "Let's eat," 

Xian helped me get my food. 

"Thank you," 

"So Angel, what's the plan now?" Red asked. 

I asked everyone to be here in my house as I will start the briefing for the plan. 

"I just wanted to say sorry for coming up with a plan so late," 

"It's okay Queen. It's not easy to come up with a plan." Jasmine said. I gave her a small smile. 

She must be calm right now. She was able to talk to my brother earlier. I think that is the reason why she's calmer. 

"Later, we'll go into the details but right now this is the plan," I took a bite in my chicken before I continued. "Currently, Labyrinth Island has five organizations. The founding organization is the Olympus Organization. Which we all know, they are the organization who makes the island's law." 

I sip on my water before I continue. 

"Other residing members are Minotaur where my cousin rules, Knossos, Agamemnon, and Menelaus. Upon investigation, Knossos Organization is being ruled by Lux Dion Baltimore," 

"A Baltimore?" Red. I nodded. 

"If he is the person behind all those recent attacks, then we can agree that the main reason why he's doing this is to revenge," 

"Yes. We have a quite good connection in the Labyrinth Island. I just don't see any other reason why someone from the island would attack us," Red continued. I couldn't agree any less.

"You might think it's going to be dangerous but no. It's going to be the safest," I know they are having doubts. It's an island we're not internally familiar with. 

"I agree with Angel. With the help of Irish, our cousin and the laws of Olympus organization, it's going to be the easiest for us. We don't need to worry about our other members as we are bring the fight closer to our enemy," 

Red is good with tactics. That's why whenever I'm planning, I always have consultation with him. 

"It's true. That's why we need to enter the island legally, so we will be under Olympus' protection." I said and continued eating my food. 

"How are we going to enter the island legally?" Shyna asked. 

"Like how she entered our organization," Red stated.
