Lucian pulled Elizabeth back, shielding her with his body as the ceiling cracked above them. “Tell me this is part of the plan!”
Elizabeth's eyes flared golden. “It is just not the part I liked.”
Aria screamed behind them, clutching her head. “It’s in my mind it sees everything!”
Her hands burst into golden light, but this time, streaks of white and violet bled through her aura, casting strange shadows against the cavern walls. Jaxon ran to her, grabbing her shoulders. “Focus, Ari. Look at me. You’re stronger than it.”
