Elizabeth sat at the war table, her golden eyes scanning the maps spread before her. Every inch of their territory was accounted for, every weak point marked. The rogue attacks were becoming bolder, and with Selene’s betrayal, the enemy had an advantage they could not ignore. Lucian paced beside her, his jaw clenched. "We need to strike first. We cannot wait for Viktor to make the next move." Beta Jaxon leaned forward, tapping his finger on the eastern border. "If we set a trap here, we can funnel them into the valley where our forces have the high ground." Elizabeth nodded. "That’s where we make our stand. But we need scouts eyes on their numbers, their movements." Gamma Kieran, ever skeptical, crossed his arms. "You want to send scouts into rogue-infested territory? That’s suicide."
