They finally arrived at Tonya's door after what seemed like forever.She was on the opposite side of the hospital.
In retrospect, it probably was a good idea for Adam to carry Layla, for she was already getting tired.
Adam gently set her down,then knocked on the door.
“Come in,” a soft voice said.
Adam pushed the door open, and they walked in.
Tonya was sitting up in the bed, with Aiden standing beside her in a protective stance.
His two brothers steadied Layla as she walked to her bed.
Before she could approach though, Aiden grabbed her arm and whispered in her ear,
“Princess, thank you for saving her, but if you upset her I won’t hesitate to throw you out of this room. She is my mate and I will do anything to protect her.”
“Understood,” she nodded her head, and Aiden let her go.
