"Ryuu."
Ryuu snapped her head in the direction of the voice calling her name, pulling her out of her thoughts. She looked back and saw Syr worriedly looking at her, standing next to her.
"S-Syr."
Ryuu called back in a little raspy nervous voice.
"Are you okay? Is there a problem?"
Ryuu smiled at Syr to assure her that there's nothing to worry about but it failed to assure Syr as Syr clearly saw that the smile didn't reach Ryuu's eyes.
"Yes. There's nothing to worry about."
Syr looked down, unconvinced, fidgeting at her nails.
"Hey. What's wrong?"
It is now Ryuu's turn to get worried. She stood up from the sofa and held Syr on both her shoulders, peering down at her eyelashes, staring intently at the shorter girl.
