The days had gone by in a matter of seconds, which ended up turning into months. I had become distant from everyone now including Letizia. None of them deserved the silent treatment I have been giving them, but I couldn’t handle being around everyone.
It made Casey suffer the most since she needed my help now trying to organize the finances to rebuild the pack, but it was hard being around her the most. Seeing her reminded me of all the memories we shared together with Adam.
I never once blamed her for what happened, but to see how much it affected her, made the tightness in my chest worse.
