My dad let out a growl and walked away, standing aside. My mom had gotten up and somehow managed to slip out of her chains.
Her eyes had a crazed look in them when she set her sight on me. She screamed as she ran towards me, but before she could get to me, Ryan stepped in front of her. The look of delight on his face as he leaned down.
“I’ve waited almost 20 years for this moment,” he said just loud enough for us to hear.
He gripped her hair so he was staring directly into his eyes, extending his claws. Slowly he pushed his sharp claws deep into her chest. She thrashed around, letting out her piercing screams till Ryan had ripped out her heart. The life left her eyes as she stood there motionless.
