First day jitters ✨️

Annabel wakes up the school bus is here, " Annabel mom called. Annabel groaned as she got out of bed, she hates going to school, school is like a torture in he'll, she preferred being alone in her room rotting in her bed. She had told her parents that she didn't want to be in school anymore but they didn't let her.

They have always compared her to her sister Nancy.

As she got out of bed she didn't mind taking her bath she just put on a sweat vest and a washed jeans and came out of her room.

Annabel please make haste," her mom called

Won't you eat breakfast she said

Annabel looked at the food at the dining table it was scrambled eggs and bread she just took a few bites and left through the door.

It was the start of a new semester, As she boarded the bus, Annabel found her usual seat alone at the back. She plugged in her earbuds and listened to the sound of her favourite song.

She glanced over where her sister was

As usual she was with her friends talking and laughing, she has always had it easy she was the golden child of the family, brilliant, blonde hair, blue eyes, the belle of the family. She could get away with anything, she had a captivating smile and a lost charm.

As the bus arrived the students got down charttering away. She stepped out of the halls walking towards the school halls. She got her books and headed towards her class, she had double checked her schedule earlier. She has Mr Thompson: English Literature class.

As she got into the classroom, she took a deep breath and went to take her seat and the back of the class

Welcome, everyone Mr Thompson said

I am your English Literature teacher, and I will be taking you all for this semester English AP

said we are to read The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald. Mr Thompson said.

As he was addressing the class, a student walked in and handed him a paper; he was an exchange student. Oh, it seems like we have a new student joining us. He said, Please, could you introduce yourself to the class? Mr. Thompson asked.

Uhmmm, my name is Williams Wehlem.

Welcome Williams, Mr. Thompson said with a warm smile, We are glad to have you join our class.
