The gentle voice helped her to relax. Everything became easier, the truth spilling from her lips. "Greg beat me and my mother, he even r***d me once. I ran away." It took her a moment to realise how much she had confessed. She hadn't even told her mother about being r***d, remembering how ashamed he made her feel.
