Chapter Seventeen Between Lord Merrick and Mr. Corstairs, Cassandra could see Julian standing just inside the door. He was staring at her with a confused expression on his face. He clenched his strong jaw and his hands rolled themselves up into fists. Cassandra blinked and shook her head. She had to be imagining this. Julian wasn’t here in London. He was in Calcutta.
