Complicated Love

“I cannot continue with this relationship anymore; I want us to go our separate ways,” Alex said, his face and tone stating how determined he was.

Nicole felt as if the whole building had crashed on her; she felt a sudden heat arise from her inside.

Did she hear him correctly or her ears suddenly stopped functioning well? He wanted to end a 7-year relationship just like that.

Twenty minutes ago, he sent her a message, stating that he needed to see her urgently. She quickly dressed up thinking it was one of his numerous surprises.

No, that can't be happening; she invested so much in this relationship, she gave her all, and most importantly, she gave 7 important years of her life.

Still refusing to believe her ears, she asked, “Are you breaking up with me? You can no longer continue a 7-year relationship?”

“Yes, you heard me, or have you suddenly turned deaf?” he said harshly.

He was not only breaking up with her, he was sounding so harsh too, like he hated her so much.

When she confirmed that he was truly breaking up with her, she decided to ask what she did wrong to warrant a breakup.

“Alright, I accept that you want a breakup but before you break up with me, can I at least know my offense? What have I done wrong? Why do you want to break up with me?” She said, fighting the urge to pour down the hot tears welled up in her eyes.

“I do not owe you any explanation, but if you must know, I don't love you anymore, and I don't want to marry who I don't love,” he said, without considering how she would feel.

“You dated me for 7 good years, and now you suddenly don't love me anymore,” she said amidst tears.

“Yes. Now, let me warn you, after this meeting, delete my number. I don't want to see you anywhere close to me or my house and finally, don't try to bring anyone along with you to beg me because it won't work.”

“Wow,” that was all she could utter.

“Have a nice life.” After saying this, he picked up his phone from the table and walked out of the restaurant, leaving her perplexed and in tears.

She wanted to call out to him but she discovered that her voice was gone. She became too weak to even fight him. All she could think about was the 7 wasted years of her life.

If someone had told her that her relationship of 7 years would end this way, she would have cursed out on the person.

She gathered herself and left the restaurant with the remaining strength. When she got into her car, she let out her tears, she wept bitterly.

When she got home, she made her way to her wardrobe, grabbed her box, and packed some clothes and other necessities.

When she finished packing, she headed out.

“Hello, I would like to lodge for the weekend,” she said immediately as she entered the hotel. The hotel is one of the few expensive hotels in the city.

“Okay, ma'am, you are welcome to Starlight Hotel and Suites. We have different rooms with different prices; we have one of 1000 dollars for a night, we have the one of…” the hotel attendant was still explaining when she was cut short.

“I know all of this information, I am not new here. Just give me the ‘Luxury Palace’” she said impatiently.

“The ‘Luxury Palace’ is 2000 dollars, ma'am.” The hotel attendant said.

“I know! I already told you that I'm not new here” she said, almost yelling.

“Sorry ma,” the hotel attendant quickly apologized.

After she was done with the process, she handed her room key to her

“Your room number is 33, enjoy your stay ma'am”

Nicole collected the card and left for her room. In the room, she settled in, she tried to take a nap but she couldn't sleep. Anytime she closed her eyes, the restaurant scene played in her head.

Since she could not sleep, she decided to go to the hotel bar to drink off her sorrows. She got to the bar and ordered a strong alcoholic drink.

She drank so much that her vision started becoming blurry. She managed to stagger to her room, but mistakenly, she entered someone else's room, room 23.

Derek stood in front of the mirror with his chest bare and a towel tied to his waist. He was about to do some night routine skin care when the light in the hotel room went off. Before he could make any move, his room door opened and a lady staggered in.

“Who are you?” He asked if he was surprised to see a lady in his room at that time because he was not expecting anyone.

“My boyfriend left me; I'm so sad,” she said in a drunkard's voice.

The room light went off for a long time, and it was taking longer than expected to come on; Derek was getting angry because he could not even see anything; his phone battery was down, so he couldn't put on his touch light.

“Goddammit”

“And what's my business with your boyf…”

He was not allowed to complete his statement when she leaned in and kissed him, she placed her hand on his bare chest and caressed it.

Derek felt heat emanating from his body. Just before she entered, he had taken an erection pill and was about to call a girl to come spend the night with him.

Here is this lady who is offering herself to him for free.

He kissed her back and asked, “Are you sure you want to do this?”

“Ye ee sss,” she said, she was attracted by his scent and wanted more.

He knew that asking such a question from someone drunk was not necessary, but nobody cared.

He laid her on the bed, took off her clothes, and had s*x with her.

Immediately they finished, she slept off, and he put on the clothes he already prepared before he had bathed and headed for the hotel reception stand.

“Greetings, sir; how can we help you?” the attendant asked.

“I need another room now! My room light went off and refused to come on since,” he said angrily when he discovered that the light issue was only in his room; other places had light.

“We are truly sorry about that; we will change the room right away,” the hotel attendant quickly replied with remorse in her voice. She handed another key to him.

“We are sorry once again for the inconvenience, pardon us, sir”

Derek took the key and went to his room without responding to the attendant.

Nicole woke up the next morning with a great headache; she looked around and found her clothes on the floor; it was then she realized that someone had taken off her clothes; she also felt like someone touched her, she was convinced that someone did but who could that person be??
