The wolf of the moon

The beginning

The day started off with a cold breeze, it felt so nice coming in from my window. As I began to wake up I realized what today was! It’s my 18th birthday! I get my wolf! I jumped out of bed and hop into the shower, after I ran to my closet, I pick out a cute white crop top with a blue lay over, ripped jeans and a pair of blue boots to match. It’s fall so it’s kinda of cool outside. I go down stairs and make breakfast my parents are already gone to do pack meetings and trainings, my Dad is the Alpha, Alpha Apollo. My mother the Luna of the pack Luna Amyla. They are both strong leaders.

I grab the keys to my truck and head off to school. I meet up with my friends Ash and Avonna , they are twins, though they are the same they are extremely different. Avonna loves being outside and training, Ash on the other hand like to be inside studying. We all go to class. It’s math.. first thing in the morning, great. We part our ways till lunch. At lunch I get bumped into and it’s no other than a rival wolf from the North pack, I roll my eyes and sarcastically say “excuse me”. He looks at me in a daze like he was a deer in headlights. I walk away and go to my last class. I sit in class with a pit feeling, it’s like a piece of me is missing now. I shake it off and get ready to head home to change for training.

I arrive back to the South pack. I quickly change into blue leggings, white long sleeve and white running shoes. I’ve been training since I was 8, I’m one of the strongest in my age group. I’ve been training since I was that age because I’m the next alpha. I’ll be taking over the pack in about a month. Am I ready? Not at all but I’ve been training for this role my whole life. Im going to be the first female Alpha in my pack. Though I’ve heard stories about other female Alphas, all the boys and men always made fun of the stories, saying how females are weak and can’t lead. I’ll show them.
